More countries will tax crypto over time especially when Bitcoin goes higher in price. It starts with 8% which is realative cheap however i'm sure they will increase it to 10% in x years.

Cyprus is moving ahead with a major tax reform package that, among other changes, would introduce a flat 8% tax on profits from the disposal of crypto-assets. For the first time, crypto would have its own dedicated article in the Cyprus Income Tax Law, rather than being dealt with case by case.

I'm just waiting for the announcement that Ripple will be the stable coin or something.   Lol. Catastrophizing my non-existent therapist would call it.

Jack is very "expressive", but I think this is an old vid.

That said, for some reason XXI stock is literally in the "toilet".
It trades vastly below the NAV (at least 25% lower).

As the result, it seems that their hands are tied to do anything at all while Saylor keeps issuing stock and buying $ billions of btc.
Essentially, far from XXI mobilizing btc, bitcoin became "trapped" in XXI...so far.

I am not surprised by this honestly, and it's kind of stinky for jack, because I believe his company actually has a better architecture.

Saylor is literally just doing the "speculative attack" play and the market seems to think even one company doing that might be a little bit too much. Particularly with the old guard continuing to struggle to destroy Bitcoin to the extent that they can.

(I added a link there for the definition of the concept of the speculative attack, particularly for some of our newer Dunning Kruger sort of members.)

So the market sees 21 as just another Bitcoin Treasury copycat when actually it's not quite that.  While at the same time, sailor, by being first, earned the luxury of not having to even have much of a real business anymore outside of the treasury.  I know Strategy's, "business intelligence" arm still has some income but... come on.

I would think this reality is very frustrating and depressing for Jack.

I do respect Mallers putting his value where his mouth is living on a Bitcoin standard and building companies that actually fulfill needs for the world and create a bridge between the traditional finance system and the emerging digital finance system...

But I always still feel like there's some part of building that bridge that's bowing to the old system a little bit. I don't know. I go back and forth. It is helpful and the dollar is still the unit of account.

I didn’t mean to post this like I thought she was hot. She went from a 4 to a 6 in my opinion. Still, it looks like either the stress or the prison food helped her take some pounds off and become healthier. In today’s world (at least in the US), if you aren’t wildly obese, that goes a long way.

If she made her lower Jaw about 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch longer the chin would not recede like it does.

Yeah, I'm with you on this. I've always been attracted to more natural quirky beauty in women.  I can admire the archetypical bimbo thing for just the abstract thing that it is, but not in my cup of tea.

The earlier pictures of her, though, were the star-struck stunned myopic little geek girl.

Her post-prison makeover photoshoot definitely will help her brand which she needs... since she's a fucking criminal who stole at least eight billion of dollars from people all over the world and it's going to get to be free by looking helpless and cutting the legs out from under everybody she worked with.
