The announcement by President Trump that Kevin Warsh will replace Jerome Powell as Fed Chair is not the best choice for Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency for that matter. The best pick for Bitcoin would have been Blackrock's Rick Rieder with Kevin Hassett being next best, but both were overlooked by picking Kevin Warsh.

Maybe Kevin Warsh will be a nudge (or shove) from President Trump and Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent, both huge proponents of Bitcoin, to promote it. We can hope!

Friday Night Fun F.U.D. for you all.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/docs-show-jeffrey-epstein-vast-233014858.html

"The Justice Department’s Friday release of its investigative materials related to Jeffrey Epstein is packed with details about his ties to the most powerful figures in politics, tech and global affairs.

The documents shed new light on the depth of his relationships between the convicted sex offender and figures such as Steve Bannon, Elon Musk and world leaders. In particular, the files contain extensive exchanges with Bannon as he mounted a political influence campaign across Europe, and numerous overtures — the unrequited kind — to Musk."

have to love it.

Who own's a Tesla or Tesla stock

Damn I am glad I don't travel in those circles of people.

So the info is dropped the market cooks for 2 days then boom on Monday.

What goes down and what goes up?

posted in the 3 million PAGE DUMP THEN VANISHED

'Sexual assault allegations against Donald Trump disappeared from the Epstein files within hours of them being published.

Over three million pages of Epstein files were published by the department of justice (DoJ) on Friday.

One document contains a series of uncorroborated tips about Mr Trump collated by the FBI in August last year, including claims that a 13- or 14-year-old girl was forced to perform oral sex on the president decades ago.

It is unclear how much weight the bureau attached to the tips, which are unverified and have been fiercely denied by the White House.'

Only when it's easy to do. There are some models out there that are actually a pain in the ass when it comes to repair.
(EDIT: And there are also repairs which are complicated to carry out).
Same goes with some TV's (defective backlighting in 80% of cases).
The main concern when you repair is where to get good quality replacement parts for less the price the smartphone is actually worth.

EDIT2: I repair mostly everything. I also mod most of my stuff. 3D design and print is my everyday business. The main reason is that i care about nature and environment, and i don't earn money to throw it at products for mostly the manufacturer's profit, as well as a deep mistrust in knowledge and skill of (most) repair staff. I have saved a lot of devices that were considered beyond repair by said "professionals". But that requires to manufacture your own spare parts in some cases.
And the thing that bugs me the most: Nobody is willing to look at electronics using advanced tools (like an oscilloscope) and replace components on a PCB to get things going again.

If you are capable of repairing your own stuff whether its electronic gadgets, furniture or any other thing then its the best thing. Not only you save money but also the interest you take in repairing your own stuff beats the interest of any professional who do that for money.

In last two months, I have to take my smart phone to repair shop for three times for same problem. The problem is not big and if I do that myself then it wont appear again. But I need to learn the art first to become the artist  Smiley

I remember Dec 2017 ($19k) and Dec 2018($3.5k). Even in 2019, price went mostly under $10k.
I have made a resolve that I will buy maximum if Bitcoin went down to $70k.

Between if price went down to $70k then JJG might win the bet (CMIIW).

As far as I know, my only outstanding bet is with LFC regarding whether our $126,272 might be breached prior to April 1, 2026.  There is no bottom angle to the bet, yet if the BTC price goes that far down in the coming weeks (and it is not just a flash crash), then it is going to become quite difficult for me to win that bet with LFC - and even right now it is not looking too good, absent an ability to get a 1 quarter extension on the bet (which I am not even sure if that will resolve the matter to better put the odds in my favor in a way that is materially likely to end up in a favorable outcome in my direction).

LFC will win if price exceeds 126,272$ before April 1, 2026 and you will win if it doesn't happen ?

Just two months left in the deadline. Though it's very difficult to predict future price of Bitcoin but it looks like price might not be able to break 126,272$ by April 1, 2026. Bitcoin need to go almost 40k to 30k up in coming days to break it's ATH, looks difficult but nothing impossible for Bitcoin.

It is the opposite.  I only win if the BTC price (on Bitstamp) goes above $126,272 on or before 23:59 UTC on March 31, 2026.

Yep.  The odds are not looking good, at the moment for the BTC price to go to or above $126,272 prior to the April 1 deadline.

Sites like "ifixit" and the infamous youtube academy should boost your knowledge and skills.
