20 million BTC mined already

On March 9, the 20 millionth Bitcoin was mined, leaving only one million coins to be extracted from the digital space. Initially, Satoshi Nakamoto created a hard-capped asset with a 21 million supply back in 2008, when the circulating “M1” fiat money supply in the global economy was believed to comprise $21 trillion dollars*.

[Edit] *As of early 2026, the global M1 money supply is estimated to be approximately $48 trillion to $52 trillion USD for a growth of ~128% since 2008 when Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin.

The remaining million Bitcoin will be extracted over the next 114 years, with halvings coming every four years to reduce the block reward size.

At the current price near $70,000, one million BTC is worth $70,706,880,000. Meanwhile, Bitcoin ETFs and treasury companies continue to accumulate BTC. This week, Michael Saylor’s Strategy made a regular purchase, acquiring a mind-blowing 17,994 BTC for $1.28 billion. The company now holds 738,731 BTC in total.

As for retail holders, there is similar news: the Bitcoin supply on crypto exchanges has reached an all-time low, as many have withdrawn their BTC to the safety of cold wallets. This data was provided by CoinGlass, with almost one million coins leaving trading platforms over the past year.

OT: we are living in a simulation:

1. Every time I look at coinmarketcap(CMC)....everything immediately goes south, I kid you not.
2. Every time I decide to sell a small amount of anything (bitcoin, I don't sell), that particular entity starts going down with gusto.  Roll Eyes

Conclusion: don't look a CMC and when logging into Coinbase think about buying stuff, not selling: this is a ticket to fight simulation...unless simulation already "knows" that I would do just that...rinse and repeat...ad infinitum.

So it is all YOUR fault?

Jokes aside, what are the odds that we have been put into a simulation by aliens/robots? If humanity was advanced enough, do you think we would exploit less evolved alien species by putting them into a simulation? We exploit bacteria to make cheese for us. So why not?

Are we ourselves just unknowingly making alien cheese?

Morning gentlemen.

Saylor doing some serious buying.
STRC is starting to do some heavy lifting as well. Been buying the daily mined coins and then some. 5300 BTC purchased last week. Estimated 1300~ yesterday.

https://strc.live/

His money, his business, but with so many dips lately, he buys when the price reaches $70k Roll Eyes Considering the amount of coins, he could have saved a lot of money if he had a little better timing.

Belgium ground is a bitch after 40 days of Palau-phillipines and BKK

Happy return to Europe Smiley

Look at it on the bright side, you could have spent those 40 days in Belgium, and then things would have looked a lot worse. On the other hand, there is always the option of permanently moving to some tropical paradise.

Easy to say that he should buy at lower prices. But comparing spotprice to OTC and large volume is not fair.
He does not care about price and short-term price actions. Saylor is in the business of not selling.

Scarcity Model Points To $500,000 Bitcoin Price

PlanB’s projection stems from the Stock-to-Flow framework, which treats Bitcoin similarly to scarce commodities such as gold.

According to the current projection for the 2024–2028 halving cycle, the model implies an average price near $500,000, suggesting Bitcoin could potentially exceed that level during the cycle’s peak if historical patterns repeat.

Supporters argue that similar signals in the past highlighted major buying opportunities.

Some users responding to PlanB’s post pointed to earlier “blue-zone” periods in the model—such as 2015 when Bitcoin traded below $400—that preceded large rallies.

“Bitcoin at $67,000. But S2F model screams $500,000 average this cycle (2024-2028),” PlanB wrote on X.

In total for this current cycle, the model suggests a potential Bitcoin price range from $250,000 to $1 million.
