My favorite in the category of people who could or could have been Satoshi is John Nash.

At first, it seems impossible. He was a fairly old man in the early 20-teens.

But so many things line up about Nash. It begins to get a little bit spooky after a while. And of course, if you have ever read his paper on Asymptotic Ideal Money, then you are stricken with the similarity of his concept to what was actually implemented in Bitcoin.

I think it might have been someone who was quite familiar with the work of John Nash (at least the game theory related part), but not the man himself. I doubt JN would have been as good at keeping airtight OpSec as he was at mathematics.

i dont know about everyone... but, my thoughts are>

If this is accepted within these two weeks,
BTC has the doors open for 100k in a month, so I think.
Imagine, there will be 7 billion u$ year in tolls converted into crypto?
...and Bitcoin, *like marijuana, is the gateway to other drugs.

Iran Wants Bitcoin, Crypto Payments for Strait of Hormuz Passage

Just hours after news broke of a tentative two‑week ceasefire between the United States and Iran, Iranian authorities began rolling out details of how the crucial Strait of Hormuz might reopen. Oil tankers may have to settle passage fees using Bitcoin and other digital currencies.

Under the proposed system, Iran will charge approximately $1 per barrel of oil transported through the strait, with payments to be made directly to government-controlled Bitcoin wallets, according to a report from Financial Times. Ship operators would be required to submit cargo details for approval, and once cleared, complete the payment within a short time window before being allowed passage.

The data offers real-world evidence of Bitcoin’s role during crisis, according to the report. Annual Iranian bitcoin transaction volumes grew 11.8% between 2024 and 2025 and now represent 2.2% of Iranian gross domestic product, Chainalysis estimated.

14 US States Introduce Bitcoin Reserve Bills

Multiple reports confirm 14 U.S. states have introduced legislation to create Bitcoin reserve/treasury frameworks. If enacted, state-level reserve mandates could create sustained institutional demand and legitimize BTC as a public‑policy asset, materially increasing reserve purchases and downward pressure on available supply - a bullish structural catalyst for Bitcoin price discovery.

Introducing legislation is easy, passing it is difficult so I would not cheer just because there are proposals going around. Often they get rejected somewhere down the road. Only cheer once a good proposal passes somewhere.

This website has very extensive tracking for this.

So the Difficulty is sliding downwards
156t to 138t

and current numbers toward 132t.

Maybe we are in the 2021 time after China forced miners out.
Instead A.I. and Iran war is forcing miners out.

If true we could pass 126k this fall

I have been told that the secular downtrend in Bitcoin rewards, is pushing miners with higher costs toward the loss zone. So they are pivoting toward AI data center, as they are most valuable for their energy contract than the 2.5 BTC/day (lowest since 2011) they are racking as transaction fees.

1.7 million shares of Morgan Stanley's spot Bitcoin ETF (MSBT) were scooped up today, its first day of trading - representing 10,000 BTC it perfectly tracks for investors. Nice! Grin

I think either is fair, but I changed it to 'representing'.

In the coming months, the addition of the MSBT ETF to Morgan Stanley’s massive wealth network - managing $9T - will likely trigger a major supply squeeze. When you combine the institutional accumulation from Fidelity and BlackRock with existing 'Treasury' holders like MicroStrategy (holding ~740k BTC), we are seeing a massive percentage of the 21M supply moving into 'permanent' institutional hands.

On-chain data shows about 4.4M BTC in accumulation addresses, and when you add Satoshi’s 1.1M and the estimated 3.7M in lost coins, nearly 50% to 60% of all Bitcoin is effectively illiquid. As ETFs continue to 'eat' the remaining tradeable supply, we are heading toward a scenario where only 5 or 6 million BTC are actually available for the entire world to fight over. In a supply-demand crunch like that, a 7-digit Bitcoin price isn't just a fantasy - it’s a mathematical probability.
