Just imagine her private parts, and what you may find in there... Ouch! Cheesy

That area is specially padded in most of the newer models

Speaking of creepy AI imagery, and relating to my previous post, with the volley girl, there is a psychological phenomenon that explains why we feel so scared when we see an AI-generated human body/face with features that look too perfect, but are slightly off, or with wrong knuckle count or with an Adidas sole embedded on their feet.

It's called The Uncanny Valley Effect, and I have personally experienced it several times. It can occur in poorly lit areas, reflections, and is being used in movies to induce fear to the viewer. One such movie, which had a strong effect on me, is Smile (2022). That girl (pictured below), with that smile, gave me the creeps! Although I find her beautiful, her face, and her smile, have something creepy in them. I can't pin-point it, I guess it's subtle proportionality deviations between face, eyes, and mouth.

Gemini gave me this:

Quote
The Uncanny Valley Effect: Coined by Masahiro Mori, this theory posits that as objects (or faces) become more human-like, our emotional response becomes more positive—until they become almost perfectly human, at which point the response flips to revulsion. Subtle "off" features, such as over-filled lips or slightly asymmetric eyes, create this negative reaction.

I find it very fascinating that the human brain is OK when seeing an all-metal robot like Terminator, but reacts with intense fear when seeing that girl's face...

Vs.

Just found this YouTube video which explains The Uncanny Valley Effect, with examples.

... since we have increasingly been seeing vapourminer going down a "certain" path

path?

path implies others have gone before me, or my direction is predictable. i prefer not-paths

however, thanks for the warning?

Yes, obviously, if I woke up and found that metal robot next to me, I would be extremely scared.

But that girl, she has a look that's much, much more unsettling. Like you said, evil is probably the right word. A primal, ancient evil. Something supernatural. Not just raw power, like the robot.

Well, at least i don't react with fear to the Uncanny Valley effect, but i can tell when the mouth is smiling, but not the eyes.
This is the case in this photo. Too less of wrinkling of the (outer) corners of the eyes, and no squinting.
I am the one that needs intense psychological violence in horror movies not to start laughing or sleeping away.
One of the more recent examples is "The black phone" (not pt.2, it's shit compared to the 1st one), while i was laughing off to "The Evil Dead" as a 12yo kid.
Thanks for bringing up the memories  Cool

I'm ready for $40k, seems it needs a good fakeout until the next dip.
The volume seems like most trading volume is coming from ETF's (volume rising over the course of a week, until weekend, then it's almost gone).

I agree. It's the eyes, and also the width of the mouth. Look at the same girl (Australian actress Caitlin Stasey), but genuinely smiling. I'll put her photo side by side with the evil one.

Vs.

It's amazing how the brain processes information, and how subtle differences can invoke totally different feelings.

The black phone was so disturbing I stopped about half the way . Every once in a while they do make a truly disturbing movie.

The girl with the smile would have great joking in killing. I think that is why she is more disturbing then the robot.

As to price 72k means baby bull. Maybe it will grow into a big bull.

Hoping you all see the light one day.

I do the same for those who deny the four year cycle.

Hoping you all get to make millions one day.

As for the war… Anyone who has studied the history of global reserve currencies knows that we are entering a period of war as the established world order adjusts to a new reality.

Time to make a recommendation of a film most people haven't seen that you'd recommend, I'll go first.

Big trouble in little China.
