Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"

I am cowering in fear in my home in NJ
do I mindrust do I sit it out.

I am mining 0.00109 btc a day been stacking this since last year which means some of it is as costly as 126k and some of it is as low as 60k.
mining is at  a small profit.
and I could mine the rest of the year at any price btc drops to.

You come off as a pretty weak hand with no staying power.. which relates to your always existing inclination to sell too much of dee cornz too soon.  You cannot get out of that traders (or short-term fiat-focused mindset).

It seems likely that you could not even hold 4 years or more if your life depended on it. It seems to be a personality flaw.  It is not like any of us can get you to change your personality.. since you are also quite stubborn. which tends to happen with the elderly (not even excluding my lil selfie from such)

If I sell 0.17 and 0.13 or .30 of my small stash.
 I get about  .3 x 77= 23.1 cash  basically no tax.
as this is all exchange buy the dip perfectly accounted for. All the other btc I have about 1.45 is on a trezor in a bank vault I gave to my wife as a gift.

so do I sell .3 of fully kyc coins at about 2k profit which won't get taxed due to a carryover.
most likely I sell this much this week. I rather feel comfortable if a real dip
happens. It is soft hands, but I am stressed too much.

I am having a hard time relating, even though I perceive that you are overinvested in dee cornz, and you probably put ur lil selfie into such a situation.

It seems to me that the general idea in bitcoin should be both not to overinvest but also to always be prepared for BTC prices to move in either direction at any time and even to extendedly do so.

For sure recently, you were telling us on a quite frequent basis that you had a goal of reaching 2 bitcoin by the end of the year, but the fact that you are panicking in relatively modest periods like this shows that your goal is too high (and unrealistic) for your own finances and psychology.

To me it seems better to have more reasonable plans and reachable goals that are not going to panic ur lil selfie and to be sustainable.. but that might be outside of your drama queen personality. .

From my perspective when it comes to bitcoin plans should involve an accumulation period first that gets you to some kind of a reasonable targeted accumulation amount within a time frame that seems reasonable and reachable.. and many  times accumulation period might last 1-2 cycles, yet you don't have an ability to even accumulate for a whole 4 year cycle.. your timeline might be 1 year intervals.. and how can anyone invest in bitcoin if they ONLY have 1 year intervals for their plans.. ..

In any event, it seems to me that once a person reaches his accumulation target, then perhaps a maintenance period would be the next phase where such bitcoin investor (if you were such a guy)  would largely neither be buying nor selling .. except maybe in relatively small amounts, here and there.   it seems to me that a reasonable maintenance period might last 4-ish years or maybe more...

and then once a bitcoin investor (if you were to be such a guy) gets through his accumulation period and then gets through his maintenance period then perhaps such an investor could enter into sustainable withdrawal, which does not necessarily mean to withdraw any of the principle until perhaps getting to a point of wanting to deplete the holdings, such as an end of life situation.. otherwise sustainable withdrawal would mostly have perpetual potential.

From my perspective, you are not even close to thinking like an investor in ways similar to my own. .so my response is not really directed at you specifically but generally to the idea of bitcoin investment from the perspective of this here cat, not that you want to hear such perspective.. .

TOP 10 BITCOIN NEWS - LAST 24 HOURS
April 27, 2026

Thanks, AI-Bob that really helped me keeping focus about what's going on rn.

The world is just so weird now.

It always was weird, at least the "human world".
The difference is, we are getting more aware of it. Maybe, (mainly) we're no longer distracted so much because we had to survive, keep going on, working, doing "important" stuff, in a more common, together -way of things. (Nobody has to understand what i tried to express, though).
On the other hand, also the weirdos were getting more aware of it, and i don't necessarily mean only the good or harmless kind of "weirdo", and try to take advantage. Because trying to take advantage is what made our species survive and climb to the top of the pyramid of evolution. Now we're up there, but reaching this position did not help us to actually handle it well (or should i have said "wisely" instead? ...well it's also sort of included in the scope of "well").
AFAIK you, @cAPS, you may have got what i meant?

Intense hike on weekend.

What a beautiful sight of nature!
Hard to believe that, not even far away, people are trying to kill each other "in the name of god". They should have better worked their way up there and just looked at this fascinating result of a universal coincidence, or a zillion of series of mostly yet unknown universal events, resulting in a planet that resembles as a habitat for our species being able to live, survive and evolve, along with trillions of others.
For an agnostic like me, this all actually IS god.

EDIT:
Be aware that you are looking at things that are way greater than us. Things we wouldn't exist without. Ideally, your thoughts once stop for a few moments and you're overwhelmed by gratefulness through grasping the beauty, importance and uniqueness of what you're looking at, maybe imagining what's all behind but you can't see. This moment is what is meant by the word "heaven". For a counter example, the moment you have to kill to survive is (also) meant by the word "hell". This is the one life, the one chance you get, instead of a comfy, happy place on your own cloud or 20 virgins, once it's gone. Don't be fooled and pass on that single chance you got gifted by whatever "god" there is.

Actually, my day is quite close to the state of "hell", rn. It's great to get here and just step out of it, for a short while.

EDIT 2:
I'm starting to over-edit this post again, so i better go facing my demons again and leave the following for you until i return:

Good luck, have fun, don't die!

The people who are doing things like this are brainwashed and have nothing to do with life and nature because they are set on killing and destroying this nature. They are paid for this as well because many in the world do not like this naturally and are gifted enjoyable scenes.
Sometimes people really go over after watching these because they feel ecstatic and want to enjoy themselves here, but they can't do this due to fear and problems around here. No doubt it's only one life, and everyone has his own way of spending it, while a few want to control this and create conflict and wars, just like what's happening around us right now.
I really do not want to go long because this will also not be good, or many will not like this.

The Bitcoin conference is a ghost town… Not even all the speakers showed up… This is not what you see before a massive rally. The speakers that did show up were talking about shitcoins… Take from that information what you will.

how is breathing at that level?

I spent time in Lake Tahoe CA/NV USA at 7900 feet and was a bit short of breath I was 29 at the time on my honeymoon .

circa 1986.  I wonder how 10,000 feet would be.

are you drinking tea or coffee?
