Also, haven't read from vapourminer for 2 days now and I wonder if the squirrels felt it was their time to make a move on him..
Great, there's more concerning... Thanks for the tip, though. Well, sorry to hear about your troubles mate, but one thing I don't really get right: You say you are mid-50 which I take as something like 55 and you talk about retiring 20 yrs early. Isn't the official retirement age in A like 65 (as currently in CH)?

Oh usa disability. Oh usa retirement ages Oh veteran disability.
I know a ton of the above.
Where to start.
Social security vs ssi
Ssi is for younger people that could not work long enough or at all to get on social security.
It is terrible very limited and if you get an inheritance you have to pay all that was given to you. This program is also abused and ripped off a lot.
Social security has a disability rule and you can go on it if you worked at least 28 quarters out of the last 10 years.
Ie you get out of high school at 18 and get hurt at 26 you had a steady job you can collect social security disability.
It is better than ssi. If you get an inheritance it is yours. If you marry a rich spouse the spouse and you are not punished.
Social for legit retiring.
62 but no Medicare 65 with Medicare 69 with bigger check and Medicare 71 with max check and Medicare
The 69 and 71 numbers are subject to change.
Veteran.
But not 20 years in and on a pension.
Ie me 5 years In and a partial disability check with no restrictions I am 50% and can work. Also now that I am 65 plus I can not lose it.
Even though it is said to be 50% it is only 25% of full disability.
So I get about 1300 a month for it.

Sounds like something the squirrels would say. We have to assume vapourminer has been compromised.

Sorry to hear it, but in comparison with US where disability is currently $994 per month maximum (I have a relative who is disabled), your situation is probably much better (in EU).
That isn’t at all accurate. I know a bunch of veterans who are receiving more than $4,000 per month in disability. Actually, nearly every veteran I know is doing this… Had they structured an actual pension plan instead of making all the veterans commit fraud to be taken care of for life, I probably would’ve considered the military… Veterans are on a separate disability track, imho, similarly to how VA serves veterans and not 'regular' folks. I am talking about SSI, sorry for not making it clear. Some people, who were never able to work eventually became adults and this support is what they've got. On SSDI you can get more because your work is also under consideration in this case.

You know the Chick that started the trojan war because of how hot she was. Seriousness every chick I've ever been with is better looking than this ugly ass bitch. I mean I couldn't get drunk enough! 99% of every chick walking down the street is better looking than this chick. "THE FACE THAT LAUNCHED A THOUSAND SHIPS" is literally Helen of Troy's description.
