Well I have been hitting tequila to honor Cinco de mayo.

And its 80 proof.

Maybe I hit something a bit  stronger tonight see if we get past 85k

Almost forgot about Cinco de Mayo, an American celebration. Nobody in Mexico cares about a minor defeat of the French except in a small area in northern Mexico.

Enjoy your tequila. You don't need an excuse. Any time will do.

Eric Balchunis (Bloomberg ETF analyst):

https://youtu.be/ipZE4dgP-_I?t=3699

Wall Street is posed to introduce a few bitcoin income ETFs (based on selling covered calls), where they would give you a significant yield AND some upside vs a product like STRC with just yield.
Examples of similar products are JEPI and JEPQ (based on SP500 and Nasdaq, respectively).
The first one yields 8.3% and the second one 10.4%, which is a lot.
Interestingly, JEPI had almost no equity growth in the last 5 years, just income (40%), but JEPQ had growth, so you would have gotten 19% appreciation on the top of almost 52% in divvies in 5 years.
Of course, these kind of instruments depend on volatility, so for bitcoin they would need to offer maybe at least 15% yield, maybe more.
Who is the target audience: boomers, of course.

Imho, this might be something that would somewhat successfully compete with STRC.
Perhaps, Saylor is posed to create something similar against his stash?

Overall, this shows that WS starts to incorporate btc into their deal flow.
Some people might cringe, but it is what is happening.

~~

But I guess it's a fine point about Bond as 007

since  the character Bond is the story not the agent number 007.

A black could play 007
A black should not play Bond

as Bond was a white guy that looked like the picture above.

So this is why I hate the internet at times. It is hard to write the correct words.

So yeah Edris would make a great 007
and       Edris as Bond would be an insult  to white Scotsman

as (Bond was a white scotsman)

I think most people wouldn't be shocked if they made Bond black. It just had to be a man.
The story is about James Bond, the British agent 007. They can't cast a woman to play James Bond.

Either way, I think this is sometimes the creative problem we face today. And they forget one thing: just like in literature, in film a character can live forever and be portrayed by different people.

So, just like Spider-Man is always the same, no matter who plays him. Or Superman is always the same, no matter who plays him. James Bond - 007 is always the same, no matter who plays him. He can't die, because if he dies, the story ends.

SPOILER: And that was the biggest problem they created at the end of the last film. They killed, or tried to kill, James Bond. Now, the choice of an actor to portray him is the least of his problems. The story has to be logical, so as not to conflict with the mess they made in the last film*.

* Personally, I thought the movie was well-made and had a good story, but it wasn't a story for James Bond, not with that ending and some of the aspects that occur throughout the film.

dr who got it right for a loooooong time. different (male white) actors, same role. and they made it work. well till the absolutely horribly done Whittaker (woman) and Gatwa (black) regenerations of late. and it wasnt really the actors i think its they were forced into an impossible role that had way too much cannon in it that they ignored to "make the storys work." dunno if dr who is even on anymore. i stopped watching a couple years ago it was so bad. and im like OG Who fan, saw darn near every episode back in the day. hiding behind the couch.

oh well at least i grew up with honor of seeing the REAL doctor.. William Hartnell

welp heres hoping the best for our man bonds legacy

Me, I have bitcoins.

Every week BTC is deposited into my wallet. That's a good method of DCA.
