This constant controlled selling with no bounce must be someone big unloading everything they have. I'm sure in a day of two we'll find out a little more about the size of the seller.

Edit: for fuck sake just bounce, even a little.

I was getting my hopes up when we reclaimed 80k that this time is different. It seems not though, kinda pathetic that stocks are at ATHs seemingly every week but Bitcoin is over 40% down & threatening much lower. We’re going to 40k aren’t we? I should have sold way more over 120k, idiot. We are now at prices from 2021 Cheesy Pretty much everything has outperformed Bitcoin. Anything less than 180k per coin in 3 years and we are total morons.

Did I miss much and are we still 60/40 bullish over here ? Assuming sweeping the lows isn't actually bearish that is, compared to making new lows and whatever the "other" option could mean.

I’ve been a bear for some time now but I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Only about 4 months of misery left in front of us and then things will turn again. A year after that this thread will agree with me. Lol

Yesterday my DCA went through as expected and I purchased 0.0174 BTC at a price of $71,429.88 per BTC.

Lol, of course you would be  Grin
I also remember you turning bearish pretty early in the last cycle when everyone else was still bullish, and turning bullish again around the right time frame, so statistically, I value that.

Only about 4 months of misery left in front of us and then things will turn again. A year after that this thread will agree with me. Lol

Ah, the infamous "October low" theory right? If so I'm onboard with it, with the caveat that we don't actually need to make a new low, only that October is very likely going to be the end of bear (even if a higher low). The cycle has moved forward by a month each year roughly but not much else has broken so far, The bear in me says we can still reach the 400 WMA (~8 Year average) at around $45K by October, simply because we touched the 350 WMA last cycle (FTX collapse), the 300 WMA the cycle before that (Covid dip), 250 WMA in 2015, 200 WMA in 2014, you get the idea. Price has basically just reached a new Year+ long MA each capitaultion, more or less. But it would take an extraordinary capitulation like all of those previous events, and I'm just not "feeling it" right now. I also don't see the momentum yet, but things can obvious change. I gave $45K higher odds back in February though, much less now. For now I can see fuck all happening for the next 3 months despite all the fear as most know it's accumulation time (or they should be now at least), other than pretending to break the 200 WMA that ETFs will likely attempt to consume as part of DCA, maybe even reach $90K as a quick bull trap before the magnet effect back down to support.

Also someone please tell we still refer to it as a cycle yes, until proven otherwise? Otherwise I might have to contemplate leaving Tongue

I took an online 15 minute IQ test and my results were higher than Einsteins. So I think maybe the IQ claims are not all myths. Mine obviously wasn't.
You know this reminds me of an argument I had some time a go
A friend of mine said people of the past where so intelligent, because of discoveries and and stuffs like that even without the use of AI, unlike now where we have Ai and it helps us with our knowledge
But I actually disagreed with him and that argument took a very long time for one of us to accept defeat Cheesy

And my whole point was that as generations goes by when it comes to iQ, knowledge, understanding, intelligence we are actually better.
And I know there are some people here that might also disagree with me like my friend Cheesy, but before you do let me state out some facts on why I believe this way

Okay now the age range of individuals getting Rich is getting lower and lower as generations goes by, those days they where just few individuals lower than 20 that had already become wealthy, but now you can see individuals even younger than 18 that are so rich, and I'm taking about hard earned money not that the person is from a Rich background or so. And this is one proof
But he said it's as a result of what the people of the past had done already that this present generation is building on it and it gets easier. now I cleared him but before I did, I still told him firstly that we ourselves are building things that the future generations will build on top as well so that is normal.
So I then explain to him that, that is clearly the point, now we build on their knowledge to get more knowledge and because of that we become more smarter even in future when generation to come build on our knowledge they will still be smarter. So I told him something if I bring a 20 year old individual now from the best school, and he brings from the past a 20 year old from the best school as well, I asked him who do you think will be more intelligent, he did awnser me again lol Cheesy Cheesy
And that is how the argument ended  Cheesy

So if your iQ is higher than that of Einstein it's totally understandable

Well it's been kind of a hot topic recently.

I will tell you my opinion though.  I believe that the impact of the cycle has been reducing over time with each iteration of it.  This makes total sense considering that each having is nominally much, much smaller than the ones that came before it.

And, if that were the only thing happening, I would expect, just as the high has been somewhat disappointing this time around, whatever low we reach probably won't be as dramatic as it has been in the past.  We said pretty much those exact two things about the last cycle.  (by the way, that is not a prediction. It's just one very possible reality.)

Fundamentally, I think the cycle ends up disappearing or possibly morphing into something slightly different with each epoch.

I still think it is very very different this time and perhaps this familiar price action is just compatible with the new set of factors but the world sees Bitcoin finally. People are waking up to why it matters and we have a war on with the legacy banking system all the way down to the reserve banks.

I think even if the cycle exists in a sort of numerical logical sense, the fundamental environment we are in now is so different than anyone before, that I think expecting exactly the same outcome is likely to be wrong eventually.

But I am not a trader, so all of it is just from the bleachers for me.

I only buy Bitcoin, except for when I sell it to pay for things like medical bills. That's it.  Unfortunately, for me, there's been a lot of that.

So cycles or no... I look forward to seeing the price go up. 😆

Well as usual during these sideways times I'm looking for content I haven't seen yet and remembered "3 Body Problem" was damn good and why I haven't seen a new season.

Turns out one guy just got executed for murdering the producer. LOL

That will probably be a movie in a few years.

Strategy tie. While I may not be thrilled about the company, I respect the orange tie so I figured I would support the cause. You never know when you have to make a court appearance I guess. The first thing that came to mind when I saw it was that it is the wrong color orange, but maybe that’s part of the charm.

Did you pay with bitcoin?

Or perhaps an exchange token representing a fractional ownership quantity of Coinbase-custodied leveraged bitcoin derivative return of investor capital-paying NASDAQ-listed security shares?

I know that some people would disagree, but i am not sure what is the point of paying 30 year mortgage in 7 years.
That cash flow could have been invested, instead.
...
TL;DR Imho, extra cash has to be invested for the best outcome, not for paying mortgage down early.

Depends on the mortgage rate and nominal real rates of return, "risk-free"(r) or otherwise? Certainly, dumping everything into bitcoin before 2021 would've worked out better than paying down mortgage debt in any scenario. Like jay pointed out, subsidized loans have propped up values for a long time (and things like mortgage insurance LOL). Nearly free financing ballooned prices in 20-21: now buyers from that period with little equity in outrageous purchase prices trapped holding 2% debt vs ~6.5% 30-year rates currently available, unwilling to be haircut on either price or relocation borrowing. Prices are coming down but not as rapidly as they would have otherwise. But, RE prices are damnable for taxing authority revenues vis a vis bond interest expense and will continue to be kept afloat lest tax receipts crawl in a bankruptingly downward trend. Can't have state pensions falling over...

The four year cycle is the reason the price is dropping, not Saylor’s sales and I pointed this out BEFORE it happened when this was actually useful information you could have made a ton of money from. People doubted me then just like you doubt me now. Eventually everyone comes around. See you at the bottom in September.

What's your target? 30s? The ride up was abnormally boring: what makes you think the drop will be any better? Somebody broke the coaster

someone big unloading everything they have
