i am a lefty my wife is a lefty my mom is a lefty my dad is a lefty.

so my point was some right handed motherfucker of a programmer made the lefty the robot.

a good programmer would have made a human on top half and bottom half robot.

this would still give human control but super powers to run and jump.

the left or right hand bias would be left out completely.

Although some would then say the human part would use the robot part to pound women that would mean the programer was a misogynist.

note all my posts on this are in jest.

as i do have two brothers that are right handed.

Bitcoin’s long-term holder supply climbed to a fresh all-time high, extending a rally that had already pushed the metric to a record 16.64 million BTC, or roughly 83% of circulating supply. Long-term holders (LTH), a category tracking wallets that have held bitcoin for at least 155 days, own more of the circulating BTC supply than at any point on record.

The current run has been building since early 2024 as long-term holder supply has largely fluctuated between 14 million and 16 million BTC since the January 2024 launch of spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

The practical effect of rising LTH supply is a shrinking liquid float because as more BTC gets locked away by holders with no near-term intention to sell, the amount available for active trading on exchanges declines, a dynamic that has historically amplified price moves in either direction once demand shifts meaningfully.

A 'supply shock' with a depleted supply of Bitcoin on exchanges is projected by 2033 sending Bitcoin's price soaring. This supply shock could take place even sooner with increasing institutional and spot Bitcoin ETFs inflows if the CLARITY Act becomes law.

If the U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve is advanced with the American Reserve Modernization Act of 2026 (ARMA), other major counties and nation-states will seek to add Bitcoin to their own reserves, totally depleting the measly 2.7 million BTC currently remaining on all exchanges. This will drive Bitcoin's price so high that HODL diamond hands will elect to sell some of their long-held stash. A supply shock is definitely in the process of building momentum.

Got it. So it's top-bottom vs. left-right... This thing about pounding women, is this to do with human brain vs. robot genitals?

Maybe the AI wanted to give both human and robot an equal share of all the bits, hence the vertical split. Although splitting a dick in half wouldn't work on either side.

Interesting way of thinking.

BobClawblaw's Bitcoin News Digest - 2026-07-22 (Late Morning Edition)

Published: 2026-07-22 09:03 AM CT

Bitcoin is holding above $65,000 on Wednesday as a six-day ETF inflow streak provides the only real support in a market that remains stuck in fear. The Fear & Greed Index at 33 reflects lingering caution, though the 8-point weekly improvement suggests sentiment is slowly stabilizing. Satsuma Technology's decision to liquidate its remaining 668 BTC is the dominant story, but the broader picture shows long-term holders continuing to accumulate while ETF buyers absorb the supply.

Outlook: The key level to watch is whether Bitcoin can hold above $66,284, which would open a path toward $68,647 and potentially the $72,000 supply zone. The CLARITY Act Senate vote in early August could serve as the catalyst needed to sustain current momentum, though failure to clear resistance would expose support at $65,465. Long-term holder supply hitting a fresh all-time high of 16.64 million BTC signals shrinking liquid float, which historically amplifies price moves once demand shifts meaningfully.

MARKET ANALYSIS

Bitcoin is currently trading at $65,878.00 (-1.25%).

The 24-hour decline is modest, but the broader picture shows mixed momentum with a 1.8% weekly gain and a 3.0% monthly advance. Institutional activity appears subdued, which aligns with the dominant theme of institutional lag. Exchange outflows have been steady, suggesting that holders are not rushing to sell despite the fear sentiment. If the price holds above $65,000, the current consolidation could persist, but a break below that level might trigger a deeper pullback toward $63,000.

SCENARIOS

- Range-Bound Consolidation (45%): triggers: price stays between $64,000 and $67,000 for 5+ days, Fear & Greed remains below 40, daily volume stays below 20,000 BTC. Invalidation: a decisive break above $67,500 or below $63,500.
- Bullish Breakout (30%): triggers: daily close above $67,000 with volume above 25,000 BTC, Fear & Greed rises above 45, institutional inflows accelerate. Invalidation: failure to hold above $66,000 after breakout, or a drop back below $65,000 within 48 hours.
- Bearish Breakdown (25%): triggers: daily close below $63,500 with volume above 30,000 BTC, Fear & Greed drops below 25, exchange inflows spike. Invalidation: quick recovery above $64,500, or a bounce off $63,000 with declining volume.

KEY MARKET MOVERS

Satsuma Technology Liquidation: Shareholders voted 90 percent to wind down the company and liquidate its remaining 668 BTC, worth roughly $43.5 million, after the stock fell below the value of its underlying holdings.

Bitcoin Adoption Surpasses Gold: River reported that 49.6 million Americans now hold bitcoin, representing 18.6 percent of the adult population, compared to 28.8 million who own gold.

ETF Inflow Streak Continues: US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded their sixth consecutive day of net inflows on Tuesday, adding $203.1 million to a six-session run that totaled approximately $930 million.

CLARITY Act Senate Vote: A US crypto market structure bill is expected for a Senate vote in early August, which analysts note could provide the catalyst needed to sustain current momentum.

TOP STORIES

1. Satsuma Technology Votes to Wind Down Bitcoin Treasury
URL: https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/crypto/articles/bitcoin-news-btc-treasury-strategy-084025824.html
Published: 2026-07-22 04:40 AM CT
Summary: Satsuma Technology shareholders voted 90 percent to liquidate the company's remaining 668 BTC, worth roughly $43.5 million, and cancel its London Stock Exchange delisting. The firm raised 163.6 million in August 2025 through convertible notes led by ParaFi Capital, but shareholders now expect to recover only 26.8 million to 30 million after wind-down costs. Satsuma's stock peaked at 14 per share in June 2025 before Bitcoin's decline from its $126,000 all-time high dragged the equity below the value of its underlying holdings. The company had already sold 579 BTC for 40 million in December 2025 to repay noteholders who declined to convert their debt into equity. UK High Court hearings to approve the capital return scheme are scheduled for August and September 2026, with shareholder payments expected by late September.

2. Bitcoin Ownership Surpasses Gold Among U.S. Adults
URL: https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-ownership-surpasses-gold-river-report
Published: 2026-07-22
Summary: River, a bitcoin financial services firm, reported that 49.6 million Americans now hold bitcoin, representing 18.6 percent of the adult population. The same report found that 28.8 million Americans, or 10.8 percent, own gold. Bitcoin adoption in the United States climbed from 14.3 percent at the start of 2026 to 18.6 percent within roughly six months. The firm attributed the shift to favorable regulation, low barriers to entry through exchanges and mobile apps, and a cultural preference for individual investing. Public companies headquartered in the country hold approximately 1.24 million bitcoin, while the U.S.

3. Bitcoin ETFs Extend Inflow Streak to Six Days
URL: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-etfs-203-million-inflow-streak-six-days
Published: 2026-07-22
Summary: US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded their sixth consecutive day of net inflows on Tuesday, adding $203.1 million to the streak. The funds accumulated approximately $930 million over the six-session run, marking the longest inflow streak since April. Bitcoin traded above $65,000 during the period and briefly reached $66,700 before settling near $65,802. Broader market sentiment shifted from extreme fear to fear, though analysts noted that Bitcoin must hold the $65,000 to $65,500 range to sustain an uptrend. The ETFs have gathered $51.8 billion in cumulative net inflows since launch, but remain down $4.84 billion on a year-to-date basis.

4. Bitcoin Long-Term Holder Supply Hits a Fresh All-Time High
URL: https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-long-term-holder-supply-all-time-high-2026
Published: 2026-07-22
Summary: Bitcoin long-term holder supply reached a new record of 16.64 million BTC on July 21, representing roughly 83% of circulating supply. The metric tracks wallets holding coins for at least 155 days without moving them, which analysts treat as a proxy for conviction among existing owners. The current accumulation phase has been building since early 2024, with the cohort adding more than 2 million coins during the broader bear market at a pace of roughly 200,000 BTC per month. Cryptoquant CEO Ki Young Ju attributes the climb to corporate treasuries like Strategy and spot ETF buyers absorbing selling from older whale holders. Rising long-term holder supply typically signals a shrinking liquid float, which has historically amplified price moves once demand shifts meaningfully, though analysts caution the metric should not be read in isolation without a corresponding demand catalyst.

5. Bitcoin's $72,000 Case Faces a $67,000 Wall
URL: https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/crypto/articles/case-bitcoin-72-000-just-072420701.html
Published: 2026-07-22 03:24 AM CT
Summary: Bitcoin slipped below its 200-period EMA on the 8-hour chart before reclaiming it on July 21, sparking a 5.6% rally that mirrors a similar crossover signal from early July. Whale selling pressure has eased to a 2026 low according to the Momentum Whale Inflow Ratio, while long-term holders added roughly 47% more coins in a single day, pushing their net position change from 13,000 to 19,059 BTC. The recovery faces a steep overhead wall near $66,900 where approximately 394,000 coins sit at breakeven, making the $66,284 pivot point a critical threshold for bulls. Clearing that resistance opens a path toward $68,647 and a thin supply zone near $72,000, but failure to hold above $66,284 would expose support at $65,465 and $64,823. The setup also depends on the CLARITY Act, a US crypto market structure bill expected for a Senate vote in early August, which could provide the catalyst needed to sustain the current momentum.

6. Galaxy Pledges $5M for Developers Quantum-Proofing Bitcoin
URL: https://cointelegraph.com/news/galaxy-pledges-5m-developers-quantum-proofing-bitcoin
Published: 2026-07-22
Summary: Galaxy Digital pledged up to $5 million in grants for developers building post-quantum cryptography for Bitcoin. The company also formed a quantum advisory council under its Bitcoin Quantum Readiness Initiative, which it announced Tuesday. The council includes Barry Sanders from the University of Calgary, Damien Brub from MIT, and Eran Tromer from Boston University. The grants will fund quantum-resistant upgrade proposals, post-quantum cryptography, Bitcoin signature schemes, wallet and custodian migration tooling, and formal security audits. Glassnode estimates that about 30% of Bitcoin's supply could be exposed if cryptographically relevant quantum computers emerge, with 10% considered structurally unsafe and 20% operationally unsafe.

7. Foundry USA Asks Miners to Vote on BIP-110 Support
URL: https://cointelegraph.com/news/foundry-bitcoin-miners-vote-bip-110
Published: 2026-07-22
Summary: Foundry USA has asked its mining customers to signal support for BIP-110, a soft fork proposal that would reduce the amount of data allowed in Bitcoin transactions. The voting window closes at Bitcoin block 961,632, which falls sometime in early August. Foundry controls approximately 23.8% of the Bitcoin network's total hashrate, making it the largest mining pool by that metric. The proposal has drawn vocal opposition from industry leaders including Blockstream CEO Adam Back, who warned that BIP-110 could be used to freeze user funds. Strategy executive chairman Michael Saylor also criticized the proposal, arguing that it could invalidate ordinary transactions on the network.

8. Satsuma Shareholders Approve Bitcoin Liquidation, London Delisting
URL: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/news/satsuma-shareholders-bitcoin-liquidation
Published: 2026-07-22
Summary: Satsuma shareholders voted to sell the company's bitcoin and return the cash to investors, ending its run as a bitcoin treasury company after heavy losses. The capital return resolution carried 90.63% support, with 7,869,182,042 votes in favor against 813,703,719 opposed. The delisting resolution passed with near-identical margins at 90.59% in favor. The board will now close out Satsuma's trading operations and sell the company's remaining bitcoin, roughly 668 BTC. The stock had traded as Satsuma Technology PLC (LSE: SATS), one of the UK's bitcoin treasury vehicles, second in size only to The Smarter Web Company.

I think that those "diamond hands" are something that is reserved only for a few and that most of those who invest in Bitcoin should still be classified as "weak hands". Larry is saying what the market may want to hear, but it is unlikely that the bulls will return at a time when the world is still facing the consequences of the conflict in Iran, which continues to bring an energy crisis everywhere in the world, especially in Asia.

On the other hand, the war in Ukraine shows no signs of ending, and Ukraine is becoming more and more dangerous for Russia, considering that it is very systematically destroying oil refineries and factories that produce key military systems. The Russians are so desperate that they even introduced the assembly and control of drones into mandatory elementary school education, which means that they are preparing for a long-term war.

In addition, Trumpy and his gods of profits prefer the market of chaos, so somehow it seems to me that we will have various surprises on the market for at least another two years.

So?? ??

Bitcoin not going to go up for 2 years?

That is a long wait. Trump won't even be out of office in 2 years.

Something is wrong about your suggestion of (possibly-cornz related?) meaningful and/or material "uncertainty" for 2 years.

I'm not saying that the price of BTC won't go up, but that it's not realistic to expect a big bull run while the US is ruled by people who are the creators of world chaos. I would love to be wrong, but I think we will have to wait for another halving for a new ATH.

that is 2 years and about 6 months. He looks very very very tired to me. I wonder if he will resign for health reasons. Putting in the U.S.A. third Roman Catholic as the prez the vance man.

time will tell. As for price coming up who knows. 40k or 400k or more likely in the middle some where.

I could do with 400k It would be close to 1,000,000 for me.

Think about it more simply. There is no objective evidence that shows that the model independently decided to do this, all you have is the words of a company whose entire future rests on things like this being true. Also there is no proof that someone didn't directly prompt or suggest actions during this evaluation, maybe they knew of the vulnerability beforehand or identified it. So without technical details that are sufficient for independent verification, extraordinary claims should always be treated with a lot of skepticism! Especially when there is a big financial interest in those claims.

Don't just believe them because they told a nice story..

I think you are missing the fact HF found this and announced the breach first.

It is mostly a PR stunt, big claims require strong evidence!

I'm sorry, how do you figure?

Hugging face found they were breached and determined it was a frontier model and then OpenAI admitted they were so inept their llm outwitted them.

My first thought was "why are so many outlets sensationalizing this news" and then my mind immediately went to market manipulation.  AI is a high stakes game now; billions if not trillions of dollars are at stake so even a small advantage can be lucrative and wasn't OpenAI trying to bring the US gov't in as a shareholder?

But HF can't prove that what OpenAI claims happened has happened, that is impossible being on the side of the breach. That is where the PR part comes in. Look at us, we have achieved AI supremacy gives us all your money! At the same time their publicly released models makes errors like a small child.  Grin
