 My previous go-to bank branch doesn't even have a teller anymore and they don't accept or dispense cash so even if they had safe deposit boxes, I'm not doing business there... well I'm already not going there anyway:

 The last time I went there needing cash while they still had tellers (and cash), they gave me nothing but grief - told me they didn't have a lot of cash available, asked me twenty questions and made me sit and wait until their safe opened because apparently they just didn't have 6k on hand.  Did you know that "making my wallet bulge" is not a valid answer?  They also made me use the ATM to withdraw my daily limit of 2k first so essentially they didn't have 4k available  - allegedly.  They said it was all for security reasons but then when the money was ready, they summoned me to the counter and the teller opened a large manila envelope and right in front of me where I could see  five or six wrapped stacks of hundred dollar bills among other stacks of denominations.  I said, "Whoa wait!  I only wanted 6k not 60k."  The teller just gave me the side eye.  I know why they were doing it... they told me fraud prevention and large withdrawal reporting rules.  All BS.  Maybe that's what they told them in their corporate training but the reporting requirement doesn't take effect until 10k - even today it sits at 10k and this was more than 10 years ago.  I'm sure it was an exercise in tick-boxes for her.

I seriously doubt that they would have arrested/detained the "naughty" teller.

I really don't know but I was fucking Livid and made a speech about how they were all thieves trying to steal our money to everyone in line and they were all looking at the floor and got the Pres of the bank there to personally open the vault.

I was making fun of them about the fact they had to open a vault for a measly 26k and the people in line were laughing their asses off.

As far as i'm concerned if they won't give me my money they are literal theifs and I can press charges on them and that's what I told them I was going to do.

I ended up transferring everything out of that bank that I had been a member of since I was a child.

Funny it happened right after they got bought by some big conglomerate.

I didnt even think a Credit Union could get sold.

I choose to believe that the safety deposit box stories are not as common as they appear so that I can sleep easy at night. I haven’t been to mine in so long I’m not even sure if the bank is still there… I like to think of my collection as Schrödinger’s collectibles.  Are they there? Are they not? Does it matter?

How are you changing your own behaviors?  Are you buying more bitcoin during perceived bitcoin dips and less during periods that you believe the BTC price to be overheated?  Yet, how are you going to know about that kind of stuff?

You have ONLY been registered here since November 2025, so it has not even been a year and you think that you got bitcoin's price figured out and you think that there are ways to strategize your buys. Of course, you could have started accumulating bitcoin prior to your forum registration date, yet it seems difficult to really accumulate a lot of bitcoin in a short period of time, if that is what you are proclaiming to have had done for yourself.

Buying Bitcoin isn't the case here...

Everyone has the way they accumulate Bitcoin, and basically I didn't say the way I buy Bitcoin is based on what I posted.
I do accumulate consistently via DCA, that is a different case

What I'm saying is that I look at the chats not with a goal of looking for a good buy or what so ever, it's more like a casual thing I do, no goal no plans just exploring. Think of it like looking at a water fall or a piece of art, that it..
I do that and any thing that feels interesting, I can show other people. "Hey look at this, could this happen again?" That's it...

I am not convinced in regards to your ways of describing how to approach bitcoin, unless you might have had been accumulating bitcoin for at least a whole cycle or more already.

No it's not how I approach Bitcoin,
Sometimes people post charts not because they are waiting to buy or not because they encourage others to do so, but it's just a way of sharing what you saw, just like noticing something in any random picture and you show others.

Everyone invest in their ways, chartBuddy post charts not because he does or expect others to invest based on that 
But it's just something you can look at and be in a "hmm" situation, no goals no plan, just interesting

Frequently, I suggest that newbies buy bitcoin persistently, consistently, ongoingly, regularly and even aggressively based on when money comes in and not based on the BTC price and/or thoughts about what the BTC price may or may not end up doing.

Of course, the more discretionary funds that you have, then the faster that you can make progress in your accumulating higher levels of bitcoin.

And, of course, the more bitcoin that a guy accumulates, then  the more that he might become influenced to modify his bitcoin accumulation behavior in regards to reaching a status of having enough bitcoin or more than enough bitcoin (which seems to be a great place to be).

I remember I bought a used iPad mini for Bitcoin at one point in time.  I needed it as a controller for my drone.  I think I paid somewhere around 2 BTC for it.  Not at all my worst BTC trading story, but the only one I have involving Apple products.

I will say that I am on board with the fold (duo) and really like some of the use cases they displayed.  Will be ordering when I wake up on pre-order day but I won't be using Bitcoin (brought to you by Stake, brought to you by Stake, brought to you by Stake).
