 It doesn't seem to matter who takes office.  Just from recent memory, Biden wanted student loan forgiveness (cost = trillions) and Kamala promised baby-mamma nirvana, proposing annual payments for every child up to age 18 of at least 3k (also in the trillions).  It's the old 'chicken in every pot' promise - after inflation that's about $5k now... because you know you're going to have to Door Dash it.  Nobody but Mr. philipma1957 prepares his own meals these days.

True, i didn't share any recipes (yet?).
But i am definitely the basic type of cook. Phil's recipes were fine cuisine, instead.
Just trying to use fresh stuff and actually cook something from it, instead of heating ready-made "components" and mix em on a plate...
Herbs, tomatoes, cucumber, salads, pumpkin, zucchini, berries and even eggs - all from our garden.
It's mostly rice, meat and dairy products i have to buy, along with hot pepper and soy sauce, at least in summer.
