I've got some numbers from the internets already, just wanted to know the opinions of some knowledgeable peeps here.
That said, memory is priced very high rn.

Interesting..I don't know, yet, will have to research the context size then.
...done..it looks like from 1024 to 4000 tokens max as far as the context size in concerned.
EDIT: quant size either 8-bit (mostly) or 4-bit (for the downstream analysis).

I use PCs at work, but I do not have any detail knowledge of Windows.
I have a rudimentary Linux knowledge, but on the consumer side, I was trying to price in some MacStudios which used to be decent in price, but now they are not due to memory, mostly.
Crazily, mac Ultra with a 512gb RAM upgrade used to cost "just" 4k and now this amount of memory is not available and the used one starts at $14K and up to 20K.

Anecdotally, it looks like MacStudios (and even Mac minis) are popular for AI.

Even though you are trying to be dramatic about it and even show a graph that seems to support your having had been dramatic, I would hardly characterize a 0.7% drop as plummeting.  Note 0.7% is less than 1%... so how the fuck is that "plummeting" except if you are a wee bit delusional, yourself.
