I figure that was their one freebie and also, the issue was their own incompetence that time.

Do it again and that establishes a pattern of behavior that full control of ETH is not in the hands of the owners. That should be the end of any cryptocurrency. Not fit for purpose.

Also they may be sued if they don't freeze.

The simple truth is that all exchanges are black boxes and many 'cold' wallets are effectively or actually hot wallets. There's no way to tell. Not your keys, not your coins applies as always.

Retards writing algo's.

Calling marketing terms like "warm wallets" security features is peak altcoin logic.

Adding extra layers to a centralized setup just gives bad devs more ways to write broken algorithms.
