RIP (at 86)...A great show...didn't care much for the extensions, but movies were good too.
W. Shatner of the original Star Trek is still with us, going strong at 95.

Observing 79,045@Stamp

Apparently 2 5.5 billion hacked from Binance.

This might drag Bitcoin if confirmed.

Edit: Tether has already blocked 900Mios in USDt tokens. Censorship in centralised fiat money, as usual.

I will never let someone else manage my finances, though.

This is so vague/vacuous question to ask since...

a. Does the SP500 index manage my finances?
b. Does my pension fund manage at least some of my finances?
c. Do AI agents manage my finances if i spawn them and allow the account(s) access?
d. Does my btc wallet manage my finances?

What they actually meant to say is 'is there a potentially nefarious third party that is unbeknown to us and manages your finances', but they can't put it like this, I guess.

Oh, i misunderstood Richy a bit, then  Embarrassed
No biggie, but I think it was Biodom you meant?

SEPA instant bank transfers weren't permitted again, today  Shocked
Seems i have to call the bank tomorrow again, this time i will be less friendly, as they told me last time that the specific target account will be whitelisted.
 Angry Angry Angry

It seems to me that you will need to go to the bank in person, although you can try again by phone. Someone already advised you to mention switching to another bank, they usually react to things like that.

I already have an offer from the next bank, they assure that they are checking only once on transactions, and they can whitelist my exchange's wallets IBANs in advance.
They even offer exposure to (paper?) BTC, too. First bank in my country that offered this, and the account is cheaper, migrating standing orders is automatic and free.
I just have to re-validate the new account with the exchanges.

This will teach them. I would be nice with them, maybe nicer than you are, and send a thank-you note for making you explore other options, which you wouldn't have done had they not been so kind as to worry about you and ask such deep questions about your finances.

With the future, new account i want to have transparency about how they handle crypto-affine customers, before i even think about signing up.

I'd get it in writing just to make sure.

Bitcoin is pumping and we are likely to see $82,000 soon or more, what have you seen as the reason behind?

Could the US GDP surge be the reason Bitcoin surge to $81,977 today?

This is getting interesting, maybe there are other speculations that give something more different as being part of the reason to the pump or not.

please we dropped again.

right now wait till weds the 4th

See if USA votes like Brazil and Israel

then the moves will be more realistic.

For now many are loaded with the U in F.U.D.

Mr. Philip, I'm sorry to tell you, but my calculator is a thousand times safer than the electronic ballot box that we have here, here, there is a theater to make it appear that there are elections, and they who are in power, don't want to leave since 1996 when these electronic ballot boxes were inserted here, the president, fernando henrique who put them to work, is the bank robbery partner of the guys who are in power, they receive salaries for having been tortured in the dictatorship... a great farce on top of a farce... and the people believe, and those who don't believe if they speak are arrested and or persecuted,...

every year or whatever.... there is a public audit of the ballot box where people from the field sign up to audit it, and they have half an hour to be able to see something, and as there are several barriers to find nothing, so they consider it safe.. hahahaha... huge joke... and in 2017 he(Diego Aranha) and his team, found a breach within that half hour and discovered that it is possible to reorganize the votes and know who voted for whom, violating the constitution on the privacy of voting..., in short, he had to flee from here and before he left a note that they are safe... hahaha... but a good part of the population defends this thing, and they also vote for the criminals and defend him, they are bought and are not the majority, when they are not people of little knowledge who live in the stupidity imposed by the rulers who give salaries to those who do not work... But the conscious working majority votes to improve and in a way they expect some result from a machine that votes for whoever they want to stay in power.

So, don't blame the people of Brazil for this, but the corrupt who remain in power, I can guarantee that the majority here did not vote for tax increases, did not vote because they want to continue without freedom of expression... they did not vote for corruption,,,but the law here, unfortunately favors the corrupt and the good people the law works to harm them... is sad so sad that  you can't do anything..
but it's like this here,,,,but in practically the whole world,

people can only work while politicians make laws to enslave them even more and are enjoying the perks of living in power.

Every election there are denunciations and more denunciations of fraud of various kinds, but nothing has ever been done and nor will it be.
..and all the others who fought to improve confidence in the ballot boxes as printed ballots, which I think would not change much, but it would help, are in prison and or had to flee, and nowadays, few speak.. and the accusations do not move.... yes, the government will not investigate it itself, and all the great corruptions end in nothing.... last one was from the master bank associated with thefts of the pensioners' pensions, a big scheme involving even the brother and children of the president, it comes to nothing...

https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diego_Aranha > translated>
Diego de Freitas Aranha is a professor and researcher at the State University of Campinas and since 2018 he has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. He has experience in the area of Cryptography and Computer Security, with an emphasis on efficient implementation of cryptographic algorithms and security analysis of real systems .

Biography

Diego Aranha holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Brasilia, a Master's and a PhD in Computer Science from the State University of Campinas.

He coordinated the first team of independent investigators capable of detecting and exploiting vulnerabilities in the electronic voting machine software in controlled tests organized by the Superior Electoral Court. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Brasília (2005), a Master's degree (2007) and a PhD (2011) in Computer Science from the State University of Campinas. He was a visiting PhD student for 1 year at the University of Waterloo, Canada, Adjunct Professor for just over 2 years at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Brasilia and Professor MS 3.1 for 4 years at the State University of Campinas. He is a member of the Advisory Committee of the International Conference on Cryptography and Information Security in Latin America (LATINCRYPT). In 2015 he received the "Innovators Under 35 Brazil Award" from MIT Technology Review for his work with electronic voting and Google Latin America Research Award for privacy research in 2015 and 2016.

In 2017, Diego coordinated a team of professionals in a security test promoted by the Superior Electoral Court in order to show possible flaws in the electronic voting system adopted in Brazil. According to Diego, despite the adverse conditions imposed on the team, "it was still possible to exploit vulnerable points to tamper with the voting software and enter the electronic voting machine environment". Disillusioned with the situation in the country and after the Federal Supreme Court vetoed a law that would have established the printed vote, Diego would have chosen to teach at the University of Aarhus, in Denmark.

I genuinely don’t think people realize how much bad news Bitcoin has absorbed.

If this isn’t a sign of resilience and potential seller exhaustion, I don’t know what is.

Israel and the USA want to continue to hurt Iran and some sectors of the oil world.

time will tell as this remaining 64 days will be quite an interesting time for the world
