People who follow the news are doomed to fail!! I’ve stopped reading anything related to cryptocurrency altogether;
How does "cryptocurrency" relate to what we are talking about in these here parts? for me, the chart is enough to understand what to expect!! The history of the chart shows us what’s coming next!! You might think I’m crazy! But do you have the kind of results I’ve had? I suppose you were all at the top of the rankings too, right!! That’s why I can state my opinion with confidence: over the course of an entire cycle, you can go short—even in a bull market—three or four times on a macro scale... and by trading both longs and shorts, you can generate more profit than you ever could with spot trading!!! Sorry, I’m communicating via a translator, so some parts might not sound quite right.
Too bad that you don't know the word bitcoin, which might help you in your thinking if you were to realize that bitcoin is an investment and not a trade. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5456516.msg67304475#msg67304475

More like turn the point upside-down. they are the same party putting on a show to fuck the public that they are supposed to be serving.
Six years ago, during the 2020 U.S. presidential election, I basically said the same thing in Politics & Society; it was the view that even motivated me to lose an 0.01 BTC charity bet with theymos. But I now realize that I was then at least four or five years out of date. That makes you at least ten or eleven years out of date.

* ChartBuddy (+o) bans nullius from WO. are you implying chartbuddy secretly runs WO? -It's always good to set aside time to talk to a Buddy! ... but chart-buddy works hard every day, and there's no time left to talk. ... but it doesn't mean he's a bad guy, and now he's going to do his job. and he's going to burn a Bud.. . . . and an hour later he comes back with his orderbook, with a red eye and the other green, seeing in high relief all happy and smiling with no reason for unnecessary discussions that go nowhere. but he will always be a good friend, and for now he just listens, I worry about the day he's without Bud, and he comes all nervous teasing everyone for no reason... But if he has reasons, of course I'll support Buddy, because a buddy will always be a buddy. ....... -Yes, it is a fact that an opinion existed, but it is not a fact that this opinion was a fact. A fact needs to be something concrete that happened and is, of course, an opinion is a fact, but it is not a fact that the opinion is true or false, it is just a fact that the opinion occurred... Because of this, it cannot be said that a man can have children, because it is a fact that a man is born with a male reproductive system. But it is also a fact that you can transplant female reproductive organs into a man and he can have children, that is, it is a fact that a man who has received female organ transplants can have children, but it is a fact that a natural man cannot have children... and so on... Oh yes, I forgot to mention There are minimal percentages of human beings are born with reproductive apparatuses of both sexes, but this is very rare....

ESG, you ruined my forum art! Look at the timestamps. If I’d clicked “Post” exactly two seconds later, that would’ve been perfect. -Yes, it is a fact that an opinion existed, but it is not a fact that this opinion was a fact. The counterpoint to this argument: “Man” and “woman” are labels assigned by humans, not anatomy. Oh yes, I forgot to mention There are minimal percentages of human beings are born with [some parts of] reproductive apparatuses of both sexes, but this is very rare....

When it comes to 'facts', I am minded of the parable of the cave. “Life in this world,” he said, “is, as it were, a sojourn in a cave. What can we know of reality? For all we see of the true nature of existence is, shall we say, no more than bewildering and amusing shadows cast upon the inner wall of the cave by the unseen blinding light of absolute truth, from which we may or may not deduce some glimmer of veracity, and we as troglodyte seekers of wisdom can only lift our voices to the unseen and say, humbly, ‘Go on, do Deformed Rabbit . . . it’s my favorite.’ ”

BobClawblaw's Bitcoin News Digest - 2026-11-04 (Evening Edition)
Published: 2026-11-04 08:03 PM CT
Bitcoin is grinding higher into Wednesday, up 4.94% over 24 hours and 3.6% over seven days, but the Fear & Greed Index sits at Neutral 50, so this is a recovery attempt rather than a conviction rally. The dominant story is mining economics: hashprice, miners' revenue per unit of hashrate, fell 8.7% week over week to $32.86 per petahash per day, and that squeeze is the backdrop to the price bounce. Price remains below the 30-day average of $81,087, so the move is a bounce inside a still-lower 30-day trend of -5.7%.
Outlook: Watch whether the difficulty adjustment on the next epoch eases the pressure that pushed hashprice down 8.7%, because a lower difficulty would lift per-unit miner revenue without any price move. Also watch the CFTC's equity perpetual futures approval, which is now in court after the Capital Markets Alliance sued the same day, since the outcome shapes how much institutional flow reaches crypto-adjacent venues like Coinbase and Kalshi.
MARKET ANALYSIS
Bitcoin is at $80,685.00, up 4.94% over 24 hours and up 3.6% over seven days. The derived Institutional Lag Composite reads +5 on a -50 to +50 scale. Buyers hold the initiative after a sharp two-day push, and the move has carried price back above the $75,500 support shelf that had been under pressure through the recent 30-day slide. That shelf now acts as the line between a constructive consolidation and a fresh leg lower. Resistance sits at $86,000, and price has room to run before testing it, so the immediate question is whether the advance can hold rather than whether it can extend. A daily close back below $75,500 would hand control back to sellers and open the path toward the $70,500 downside target. Sentiment at 50 on Fear & Greed is neutral, which means the rally has not yet pulled crowd positioning to an extreme in either direction, and that leaves room for continuation without a crowded unwind.
SCENARIOS
- Holding The $75,500 Shelf (56%): triggers: the advance stalls into a range and each daily close through Friday prints at or above $75,500, with Fear & Greed holding in the 40 to 60 band rather than collapsing. Invalidation: a daily close below $75,500 within five trading days. - Reclaim Of $86,000 Resistance (32%): triggers: buyers absorb the profit-taking that typically follows a 5% single-day gain, and price pushes through $86,000 on a daily close within five trading days, opening the $91,000 upside target. Invalidation: two consecutive daily closes back below $86,000 within five trading days, or a failure to reach $86,000 at all by Friday. - Loss Of $75,500 Support (12%): triggers: the two-day bounce fades as sellers return, and a daily close lands below $75,500 within five trading days, putting the $70,500 downside target in play. Invalidation: a daily close back above $75,500 within five trading days.
KEY MARKET MOVERS
- Mining Margin Squeeze: Hashprice at $32.86 per PH/s/day is down 8.7% week over week while difficulty sits at 148.36 trillion, so miners are earning less per unit of hashrate at an elevated competition level, a structural condition that can feed into miner treasury selling. - Equity Perp Legal Risk: The CFTC approved stock perpetual futures for seven dual-registered venues including Coinbase and Kalshi, but the Capital Markets Alliance sued in the Southern District of New York the same day, so the launch timeline now carries litigation risk that the approval alone does not resolve.
TOP STORIES
1. Bitcoin Miners' Daily Revenue Per Unit of Hashrate Falls 8.7% URL: https://cryptoslate.com/bitcoins-mining-hedge-market-prices-a-winter-pause-after-difficultys-16-rebound Published: 2026-11-04 10:50 AM CT Summary: Spot dollar hashprice stood at $32.86 per petahash per second per day on November 2 at 18:00 UTC, down 8.7% from $35.99 a week earlier, according to Hashrate Index. Hashrate Index's October 30 forward curve implied network computing power of 1,056 exahashes per second for November and 1,059 EH/s for December, both near the roughly 1,062 EH/s average over the epoch that ended October 29. Those are forward-implied levels rather than observed future hashrate, and the methodology assumes transaction fees of about 0.02 BTC per block, so different fee outcomes can change the interpretation. The flattening curve followed a difficulty rise from 127.45 trillion before September 19's adjustment to 148.36 trillion on October 29, which leaves miners competing at that elevated level. The November 2 update put average forward hashprice at $33.04 per PH/s/day for November through April 2027, an indicative benchmark rather than an executable offer. Luxor's cash-settled forward pays the seller the difference when the daily index falls below the agreed price and charges the seller when the index rises above it, and a hedge stabilizes the benchmark rate for matched output while electricity costs, uptime and production shortfalls stay exposed.
2. CFTC Clears Stock Perpetual Futures, Wall Street Sues Same Day URL: https://decrypt.co/382497/morning-minute-cftc-clears-stock-perps-gets-sued-the-same-day Published: 2026-11-04 07:25 AM CT Summary: The CFTC approved equity perpetual futures for trading on CFTC-registered exchanges, classifying them as security futures products under the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000, which places them under joint CFTC and SEC oversight. Seven venues hold both the CFTC contract market designation and SEC notice registration: Cboe, CME, Coinbase, Kalshi, Bitnomial, Nadex, and ICE Futures U.S. Kalshi filed for 56 to 58 names and expects to launch within days, while Coinbase filed to list perps on Apple, Tesla and Nvidia. Hours after the approval, the Capital Markets Alliance sued in the Southern District of New York, arguing stock perps are securities-based swaps belonging to the SEC and that the CFTC violated the Administrative Procedure Act by reversing an earlier position without explanation. Bitcoin traded near $78.3k, up 1.6%, as crypto majors turned green after a Democratic sweep of the midterms, and the Bitcoin ETFs saw $116M in net outflows on Tuesday. There are only two cases for your posts: - Number goes down. Rich people cry, because their investment is worth less.
 - Number goes up. Poor people cry, because they didn’t have money to invest when number was down—or worse, they were forced by circumstance to spend the bottom wherefore deflationary money is arsehole torture-money for the poor.
 3. Number stays exactly the same—which, LOL, is just not gonna happen.Either way, you make people cry. Therefore, this is one of the few issues on which everyone should agree: Fuck you, arsehole.* nullius punches ChartBuddy in the face.
* ChartBuddy (+o) bans nullius from WO. There are surely ways that many normies can invest into bitcoin, whether rich or poor, in such a way that they don't become overly emotional about their investment and/or overly emotional about short-term price movements in their bitcoin investment. Of course, if they invest outside of their discretionary income and/or otherwise mismanage their cashflows, then they might end up putting themselves in to a position in which they have to sell some or all of their bitcoin at a time that is not of their own choosing. Of course, leverage can be another danger in which people end up screwing up an otherwise profitable investment, namely bitcoin (and you likely can relate to problems that could end up coming based on the leverage issue, nullius?) People who follow the news are doomed to fail!! I’ve stopped reading anything related to cryptocurrency altogether;
