Let the wannabe traders sell on the news...
Most important news, spending bitcoin will become a lot easier and widespread.
Yes, you're right!! SPENDING is easier, but still no reason for people to buy!

But just imagine what would happen if these news were out in January/February, lol. Overstock made price to pump 200$ in a day, Paypal would pump it 2000$

Things I learned in the last 5 minutes: wide adoption is bad for bitcoin.
I think a few people need time to close their shorts.
Yep, after changing their shorts.

4 Trading steps of silliness:
1. Troll traders dump bitcoin ahead of PayPal announcement
2. Troll traders buy back their own dumped coins, hoping to fake a small rally based on PayPal news
3. Price rises, bitcoiners think it's because of PP news
4. When small rally loses steam, troll traders dump coins again
Yep, rally failed because we're now on to the troll trader BS.

Smart money understands that this will create more sell pressure, hence the price is dropping already. Don't be a maroon and a bag holder, cut your loose.
hmm that's actually a good point. No, it's not. It increases usability and therefore also value. The flaw in the above is the implicit assumption that 1. only people that already own Bitcoins will spend them and 2. They won't replace them. Both 1 and 2 are incorrect. Ok, but does usability sine qua non increase value? I'm not so sure. I agree though I was overseeing the other points though. yes. forces competitors to join in.

paypal advertises "magical money" no banks, no boundaries... > Braintree Says Goodbye to Passwords With One Touch Payments for PayPal and Venmo, and Hello to Bitcoin_ Bringing Bitcoin to Braintree developers We believe in customer choice -- choice in terms of the device they want to pay on, the OS they prefer to use, and even the payment method they want to pay with. With Braintree’s new partnership with Coinbase, merchants and developers that have integrated with Braintree’s v.zero SDK will be able to easily begin accepting bitcoin in the coming months, enabling their customers to pay with the alternative currency across their favorite apps. For more information on One Touch and Braintree’s partnership with Coinbase, visit the Braintree blog. https://www.braintreepayments.com/blog/goodbye-passwords-one-touch-hello-bitcoinpaypal is going bitcoin.

I have more btc than I did last night.
Keep on dumping tards. I was a bear once, when we were at like 800. All this is giving me an unfair amount of BTC relative to the rest of the world. Still, could be worse....I could be the FBI or something.
I agree with that dude whose signature says this: "They are trying to buy all the bitcoins: We must not let them."

That's a rough description of a momentum trade based on news. But to be fair, this works also the opposite way with bad news in a strong uptrend. Let it rise to ~485 and I will put attention on it, until then....yawn.

But anyway, since Braintree claims they'll add Coinbase to their system in coming months, there's surely time left to go more down

Yes this! It seems fairly obvious, even to me, that this is just a last minute desperate attempt to drop the price a bit so a few can get coins cheaply enough to cover some losses or keep from having any losses. These walls are just there to hold the price down long enough to get this done. Then the moon will be in sight.

The must unfortunate fact about markets is that those who bitcoin has the power to help the most are most likely the nervous ones who are referred to as "weak hands." And the boat rockers are just rich ass holes.
