Okay here is a theory for comment.

What if a fund is cashing out for tax purposes because today is the end of the fiscal year?

In other words, window dressing?

If so, tomorrow or Monday they start buying it all back.

If this is true and they are on the West Coast of US, then the dumping will stop in about a half hour.

280-320$(2000 CNY) seems dobale. This won´t stop @ 340$. Too much panic(stop-loss) will activated around there. BTC-E already broke it. Buyers have left the building. Bear traget has not been reached).
Good night and good luck.

Still long or already shit out and sold?

No longs right now. 50% cash, 50% BTC.

There will definitely a bounce somewhere, i just have no idea @ which price that will be.

300 ema at @330 usd bitsamp is my guess. That still requires another wave of panic dumping. Think I am going to buy a coin now and one then if its bounces.

so what happens around here when there's real despair?  like the $30 -> $2 drop back in the day - does it get quite?  People no longer in pain since it's such a massive drop?  Or people just think it's over?

The difference that I see between 2011 and now, is that in 2011 nobody knew about btc. Now the public has heard of it, and this big price decline will hurt btc's image quite a bit imo, in the minds of A LOT of people. Hearing that people are going broke all over the place thanks to btc doesn't make you want to invest in this technology

I mean reddit posting the suicide line, etc is not good publicity

$341 ... damn.

That is NOT a stamp price because the lowest stamp price today, so far has been $353.75.

I thought that September 30th was fiscal year end.  Is there a three day grace period?

Wow!  That is really insightful.  We shall see soon if this was the cause of today's dump.

It's a case of how low do we go. Volume seems to have picked up a bit. Shorts are near ATH. Despair is total.

I will continue to buy bears Smiley
