There are certainly people who pity gullible Apple owners around here. Perhaps there are some who hate Apple for taking advantage of those who pay a premium for inferior products but that's like hating Mcdonalds for taking advantage of those who choose to pay more for a Happy Meal than for healthy food from a family-owned restaurant. If a person decides to pay more for less, that's his/her business. Don't blame the showman for fleecing the rube.

Here in Bitcoinland some still dislike Apple for pulling all Bitcoin-related programs from their "Apps" store, although that foolish decision has been rescinded.

I don't think anyone is jealous or fearful. Hate is definitely too strong a word.

Full disclosure: My only Apple PC is a Hackintosh Asus EeePC901 running OSX Snow Leopard. I haven't bothered with it in years.

I do however own an iPad Mini with "Retina" display which I find to be almost unusable. You can't connect it to a USB port of a PC without an overpriced proprietary cable. Even when it's connected, you cant transfer files to the internal storage (no SD slot) without installing malware called iTunes and connecting to the internet.

You can't install any software (including free) without signing up for an Apple account, disclosing personal information and giving them a credit card number.

My Sony Xperia Z Ultra Android device (I can't call it a phone because I didn't put in a SIM card) just plain works. It is fully anonymous and it didn't even need to be rooted like my almost-as-crappy-as-Apple Nexus7. I can download APK files on a PC, transfer them through a normal USB cable to my Xperia and install them without ever going to "Play" store or even signing up for some sleazy Google account. It's everything the iPad isn't.

TL;DR - Apple sux.

Feel free to give me that iPad for Christmas!

Sure I do, but it's a political movement based on a flawed (labor) theory of value. It was discredited by William Stanley Jevons (among others) when the concept of marginal utility was developed. Austrian Economics is also a Jewish creation and it will prove to be much more durable than communism.

So, you are switching back to bear again?  I suppose nothing really wrong with that if you know what you are doing regarding the trading... I just get the sense that nobody can really predict which way the prices are going unless s/he or it is a big enough player to manipulate the prices  (or happens to know someone who is capable of such).  Another possibility are those people who may have some access to non-public exchange information - that could cause them to anticipate inflows and outflows of cash and/or BTC and thereby determine whether a pump or a dump has become more or less imminent.
