Best option if you're in a hurry : https://www.cavirtex.com/methods#cad_deposit

You can deposit cash while they verify your account then you can use bill pay via online banking.

Cheapest method for big amount is to send a wire to MtGox or Bitstamp but it's slow.

You can find sellers that do Interac payment but the fees are very high : https://localbitcoins.com

Doesn't wire transfer cost like $30 and take days?

Cavirtex only charges $3 to deposit cash to their account at Scotiabank, but they charge 3% both sides of every trade, which is ridiculous.

I said it's less expensive doing a wire for big amount of money like 2K+ and I mentioned it's slow but if you send 10K+ it might well worth the wait.
