Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

If he puts 2020 on the hologram,  I don't see how there is an issue with that. Maybe a buyer funded coin like smoothie. Plus I don't think there were gold version of the 2014 titan coin only brass.

Tim can display 2020 on the hologram to prevent any confusion I would love to have the 2014 gold version. You make some great coins.

You can buy as many as you want of the gold 2014 from the seller.

Tim and his company don't need to be involved in that sale.

Thanks!

Maybe we can load some with 0.1BTC, some with 0.005BTC and maybe some with 0.15151BTC too as long as we put that on the hologram too! Mismatching front and back is so random I just love it! Maybe have ovals where we can fill in the year too!

These coins are gonna end up looking like this

Tim from TitanBTC has offered to restore peeled coins. I find this to be against everything collectible.

2) Restored coins. Tim the president of Titan Mint is willing to restore these coins and reload them with a new hologram and load a bitcoin onto them. Price for the restored coins will be $100 over spot gold + the BTC price currently $8173 per coin plus shipping. These restored coins will be loaded only with bitcoin and will not have any of the multiple fork coins BSV, BCH, ect that have branched off over the years.

I don't think coin makers should do this.
Please do not do this or it will have negative consequences for everyone already owning Titans.

Ok, I've heard a fair amount of of feedback on this forum and the sales threads and via PM.

It sounds like the consensus is that most current coin owners are not excited about the reload and the new prospects are OK with a peeled coin with no hologram.  I'll discuss with Coin cube and we'll decide on whether to limit this sale to "peeled" only and skip the reload option.

As some others suggested, new 2020 coins would be a much better idea. Reloading them will tarnish your reputation and devaluate the premium on existing coins.

@TitanBTC.... if you actually reload these..... you are a MORON!!!  I would sell EVERY Titan coin I own based on your sheer stupidity and lack of awareness!  Full disclosure, I do not own either a 2014 gold or 2016 gold, but if I did, I would really be lighting this thread on fire!!  Anyone that owns either of these coins still funded have a much rarer coin with all those others peeled.  Now you are going to make their coins less rare by refunding the old ones?  Total DICK move!!!!  A peeled coin is history and should be left alone.  Facepalm.

p.s.  Not one person has chimed in thinking this would be a good practice.  There should be NOTHING to discuss with Coincube..... you should make an executive decision to not completely F**K the rest of the Titan holders that did not peel their coins.

p.s.  not one person has chimed in thinking this would be a good practice.

Which is why it’s not going to happen. The consensus was opposed so these coins will be sold as is. I have edited the sale post to reflect this.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5210516.0

Apparently there was more demand then I expected as it sounds like there are already more orders then I have coins so unless some of these early orders don’t follow through my coins are sold.

Try to relax life’s too short to get so worked up over something so trivial.

Is there any way of knowing how many Titan coins are left loaded?
Particularly interested in the gold coins as 50 have now been redeemed and there being only 100 x 2016 Titan Mint gold coins (Lady Justice Version) made.....

Anyone ?

TitanBTC - How would you authenticate a peeled coin and differentiate from a high fidelity Chinese copy?  Is this a service you plan on offering to all or just to this one person?

If you're planning on reloading coins you should have announced it when you released the coins... there is no doubt reloading peeled coins would devalue the collectors value of all Titan coins

Kind of annoyed with the way some of y’all are talking to my man Titan BTC.  Especially you anonymousminer.  Dude is an OG and has done quite a bit to get us to where we are now.  And I’d appreciate if you give him the respect he deserves.  You are talking at him like a jack ass.

As a long time bitcoiner and collector of Titan Btc, I think K_os doesn’t Have a bad idea about maybe allowing a re-hologram but with a distinction of them being a new 2020 hologram.  this makes it so TitanBtc can fufill a demand without having to make a new die and invest in all new gold coins.  Money is tight nowadays, a run of any amount of 1 oz gold coins would be very costly.

I strongly agree with the first part of your message. It’s sad to see that ideas can’t even be expressed anymore on a forum like bitcointalk, without receiving a bunch of insults in return.. Probably one of the reasons why a lot of collectors are starting to stay away from the forums.

I call it as I see it!  Sorry if it offends you.  I understand what Titan has done for the space and I own Titan coins as well...... but a piss poor idea is a piss poor idea, and I'm no kiss ass!!!!  I'd be salty as f**k too if Mike Caldwell said "hey, no problem, I'll reload your Casascius coins."   Especially to just help sell peeled coins for whatever the reason may be.  The fact that coins remained unpeeled during the bull run when Bcash and the other shitforks went bananas is what helps with the premium.  They have become rarer than before.
.....and for the 1000th time, THE PEELED COINS ARE HISTORY especially if they have the hologram.

Probably not the popular thing to do but I will say I agree with anonymous miner, maybe he is a little harsh but in the end probably the loudest person that made titan think otherwise.  Kudos to anon for sticking his neck out there.

I mean the point is if mike came in and said he was re assembling coins shit would hit the fan.  People know how many assembled coins exist for a reason.  It develops an price based on existing assembled coins.  If that is altered it's almost like hard forking bitcoin to add  5 mil coins based on the lost coin figure.  Maybe not the same but you get the point.  Not fair to the peopl1e holding the now more rare coins.  Maybe anon could tone down the sentiment but I cant blame him for being vocal about his position on this and thank him for getting titan to reconsider his position on re assembling coins
