it is all about new features.
for example i have been playing on primedice whenever i wanted to play dice games. but even since i found out about bitsler i moved on to there although it was a new casino by that time. it was because of the fast rolls, a nicer design and a lot of other smaller things like the design,.... that i liked more.

If about popularity then yes they have a chance as always. It will just need a wild effort in advertising and maintaining the site as much as the gambling site owners can.
