my bet, which included the 5 mbtc fee, has 12 confirmations now and still no response. this is the longest i've ever had to wait. has any else had similar problems recently?

what worries me is that i can find the tx on blockchain.info, but it doesn't show up on sdice's own 'lookup' page. what can i do?

make sure the amount is greater than the minimum

Its a bit sad  that a company that makes as much money as SatoshiDice keeps bets under min "as a donation".
SatoshiRoulette always refunds under and over bets. Under bets that are below the default tx fee are not refunded automatically but can still be organized on player request.

this isn't true, satoshi dice only wait a little before sending the transaction back.

Im glad to see they have changed this, a shame they took advantage of it as long as possible.

thanks for the replies, my bet returned on the order of hours later -- longest i've ever had to wait. is this a symptom of blockchain bloat? or just incompetence on the sdice side

SDice issue, you can always test the blockchain responsiveness by making a tiny bet against another "instant payout" casino such as ours Wink

I'd just find a different place to play.  SatoshiDice is slow and has high fees.  There are at least 3 other places to play that have lower fees and let you know what's going on.

When SatoshiDice realizes that they are losing players because of the slowness and high fees, they will change.
