hi all i cant post any where else i didnt realise

im manually adding the http address on Guiminer with 'other' selected.....

but the miner keep diverting me to stratum rather than getwork

can anyone help?

You will get more accepted shares using the stratum protocol so I would avoid getwork.

If you are using guiminer version 20121118 or later, it should support the stratum protocol.  Does it give you an error?

There is no reason to use getwork, much higher stales than stratum.
