Byteball & iota are not blockchain based right, so technically do they qualify as altcoin. Are they any better than coins based on blockchain or just different?

seems nobody is 100% sure yet. They bring some advantages but as yet they may have weaknesses that blockchain based projects do not have.

Im shocked there are not more dag projects out already due to the attraction of the first two that have been released. Perhaps more will come out once these have been tested a bit more.

IOTA is doing a big stresstest this day.
Soon we will publish results and can make some conclusions whether it is better then blockchain.

Byteball... CFB asked Tonych to do stresstest, but he gave indefinite answer.
