There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Just stay at Zcash. Zcash is growing right now! Zcash almost in top 10 marketcap. Soon Zcash will stand where it belongs. To the moon and beyond!

About a dozen times folks ask about a Windows GUI wallet.
So, which Windows wallet are you using now, for both ZEC and ZCL?

Unofficial Windows binaries (CLI)

Hello, I just compiled Windows binaries (CLI), I used the zcash fork of radix42 : https://github.com/radix42/zcash/tree/v1.0.7-win-cross , and made the changes for ZERO.
Download here : https://zeroexplorer.com/zerowin.zip
To install it follow the instructions in README.TXT

It need to be tested, it's experimental software. Use at your own risk !

GUI wallet

Didn't tested but I think the zcash-swing-wallet-ui of vaklinov works with it : https://github.com/vaklinov/zcash-swing-wallet-ui
Download here : https://github.com/vaklinov/zcash-swing-wallet-ui/releases/download/0.65-beta/ZCashSwingWalletUI.jar

To use the zcash-swing-wallet-ui:
- Install JDK 8 for Windows.
- Store the ZCashSwingWalletUI.jar file in the same folder as zcashd.exe and zcash-cli.exe.
- Run ZCashSwingWalletUI.jar

I can't provide help/support for installation or utilisation.

i have noticed someting strange,
when im mining with r9 390 the power consumption is higher with this coin as when i mine eth or zcash.
but on my other computer with rx470 i noticed the total sistem power draw about 110w, when i mine eth its about 190w of power draw.
(These are number that im gettin from measuring at the wall)
Has someone seen similar reults?
