No, as stated in the readme you should get about 8.2s/s on GTX 1080 https://github.com/Optiminer/OptiminerZero#features

Maybe you are confusing iteration/s with sol/s?

To me Zero has ability to grow really as alt crypto if we get little bit of dev work here.

they launched recently another algorithm, merkel proof of work, something like that from zcoin team

Do you have any links, resources, something specific, I cant seem to find much? after doing a bit of reading it seems the Zcoin team is introducing a change called MTP (merkle tree proof) but it isn't a new coin. I'll have to sort through the documentation, so it's too early for me to say but, it still seems like its going to stay a botnet/aws magnet, which contradicts the purpose of deterring centralization.
yes,  for what i read, they are not going to create a new coin, just apply the specified algorithm above for you

getting ~15Sol/s on 1080ti

plimit 75
core +225
mem -300

doesnt seem to be 100% stable though, miner keeps crashing randomly.
been mining with these settings for days on other alogs.

Were you able to get this to stop crashing randomly?

I've used suprnova pool, tested with stock clocks on Win10 Pro x64 (not more 1 hour), drivers 382.05 (GTX 1080Ti Palit SJS)

Nope, moved the 1080s back to skein.


Not crashing when I force it to use just one card. Tested in Win10 and 7. Put it back to 2 cards and it crashes within an hour.

it's probably as good as its going to be. which is significantly reduced compared to an 8gb card. I'd recommend mining ETH unless you plan on holding some ZERO for the future. Or selling ETH and buying Zero, you would get much more this way.
