Yes, this is unbelievable. If OP has already taken the bitcoins and moved to another wallet, it would be a good idea that he shows the link to that alleged forum where he found the private keys to believe his story.

More than knowing the forum he found the private keys you also want it like we do don't you

YOu are super lucky dude. I can not imagine how lucky you can be. With 40 bitcoin, you can do whatever you want and buy whatever you like. Perhaps you should spend half of your 40-Bitcoin into some charity activities. They will be more effective than spend all of your Bitcoin in one place

if you really fount that account then you are really luck but still its not your, i think you should return it to the address from where you fond it because some one many have world hard for it to earn and how can take another person money so easily. i thin you should return it back to his address and hoe that you will get more some some legal source.

The question is, is the owner of that address still alive?? you know it's been 6 years and i don't heard someone looking for his 40 bitcoins.
However i might agree with you that op should return the funds to the owner by sign massage to that address maybe but wait the private key was on the forum that means there are more than 1 person who hold this private key,.

If you didn't any scam , fraud with anyone  , or you didn't steal the wallet of anyone then use it without any problem and tension .
Here it is clear that the wallet has last transaction in 2011 which is indicating directly that user of this wallet or address is no more able to access , so he left this one .
So use it without any problem and tension .And use it in better way to grow this amount of Bitcoin .

If you didn't any scam , fraud with anyone  , or you didn't steal the wallet of anyone then use it without any problem and tension .
Here it is clear that the wallet has last transaction in 2011 which is indicating directly that user of this wallet or address is no more able to access , so he left this one .
So use it without any problem and tension .And use it in better way to grow this amount of Bitcoin .

Yeah if you just see it in a forum theres no way your the only one who see that bitcoin data sorry but seems not legit story but if that is true your really lucky and your a rich man now just transfer the bitcoin in your own bitcoin account and there you go.
