Just wondering, why do people become vegan. Is this because of health, ethics or something else?

May they are wondering why you eat meat. popular vegan word : I dont eat my friend.

I think some of them became vegan because of healths reasons. There is much less fats in vegetables and it is better for heart. Personally I'm not vegan and i cant imagine my life without meat but i do understand vegans.

some become vegetarians because of their beliefs, but it seems to me that many people are doing it now because it's trendy. However, I do not understand why do people risk their health so much? not everyone is physically able to stop eating meat without damage to their health, the doctor's control is always needed

people are becoming vegetarians as possible because if eating meat can cause disease recurrence. or just because of the mere trend.

Vegan - as it says in the topic,

some become vegetarians because of their beliefs, but it seems to me that many people are doing it now because it's trendy. However, I do not understand why do people risk their health so much? not everyone is physically able to stop eating meat without damage to their health, the doctor's control is always needed

is not the same as vegetarian

people are becoming vegetarians as possible because if eating meat can cause disease recurrence. or just because of the mere trend.

The next step from vegetarian would be flexitarian and there goes your ethics out the window.

For vegans, I think it is for their respect for life and they don’t want to see even know that animals are hurt just so they can eat. Which then they formed a group and made it into a religious group.

been a vegan is something positive, i think that killing animals to eat is something bad, and everyone should stop doing it.

I think this is a trendy move. In fact, such people would eat meat if no one had ever tried to prove to them that its harm actually does not exist with moderate use.

I think the two most popular reasons of this is religion and protest against animal killers

I think it depends on the person but I think for most people its a cross between health and ethics. I don't mind if somebody makes it their life choice to be vegan, the only problem I have is when they make it my problem that I am not.

I am not a vegetarian, but I respect and know some who adhere to this way of life. A friend is for ethical reasons, a brother is for health. You can add more environmental reasons and fashion, in the end.
