Do you really think that bitcoin will reach another ATH amidst scaling debate crisis?
It is arguable the biggest problem BTC encountered so far, true, news about split/ hostile hard fork are mostly FUD, but still.
We are lucky that traders/weak hands are not panicking and price is still above $1000.

There were bears that said in the past that the 2013 all time high was the highest the price could get, and that bitcoin was a ponzi scheme.

We have proved all of the bears wrong.

How exactly we proved them wrong? Bitcoin is not a ponzi scheme, there is not need to prove that anymore.
Because of limited token amount, and increasing popularity=demand Bitcoin is destined to be worth more and more.

Mind explaining why you think July will so different that you think the price will reach $1400 by that time? I honestly don't see this whole fork drama situation coming to an end any time soon.

It of course doesn't mean the fork will actually happen, but aside from that, I can't see the price climb up to $1400 while the fight between various sides has not come to an end. It can't continue like this for ever.

Betting on July as some crucial date for price increase is nothing but a wild guess.
A totally random date. There is no one who can accurately predict long term Bitcoin's price.
Maybe he thought that by that time community will forget/solve protocol update issues?
I agree that price WILL go up in the future, but there is no way to tell when forking drama will be over.

I agree this current drop is because of the FUD, and indeed lucky that we are still sitting above $1000, though I guess this will take sometime to subdue.  Since eventually people will realize that all of this negative thing is just FUD to shake them of their holdings and sell it in cheap price.

Chinese exchanges will not be a big problem anymore. Dont you follow latest news?  And a fork will never happen, we only need to activate Segwit what is the hard part of all this. Activating Segwit -> destroying Rogercoin ->destroying FUD ->destroying ATH ->destroying moon

Just make some nice altcointradings and be sure you are 100% in BTC for the moontrip.

you seem to be making speculations that WILL come true but not because they are good but because you mostly say everything that is possible so one of them will come to pass.

It does look like they all want the users to panic and let everyone withdraw their bitcoin investment. There is no date exactly when the fork will happen or will it even happen or there may never be fork actually, spreading fear is all they do.  They may have been doing this just so they can all buy BTC and then suddenly cancel the fork after they all bag thousands of bitcoin with them while we all get to invest to some altcoins that could drop eventually after they cancel the fork. This is become a torture for speculators.

Yes mate as per the price trend i think bitcoin will reach $1400 mark by 2019 and i know some people over here will not agree with my statement but i am sure if they look at the history of bitcoin they will accept this because every single time when there is a price drop within few months the price almost increase by 15% - 25% than how much it was before the price drop so we can expect the bitcoin to reach $1400 by 2019 and i am sure all those who sold bitcoin for lesser price during this price dump will regret it.

People were complaining about them not having bought their coins below the $1000 at the time the price was rushing through $1200-$1300, and now their wishes have been granted. Sub $1000 is here so people can buy to their heart's content. But I am quite sure that they don't have the balls to buy themselves some coins now the price is going down. That's how it goes around here. After a while when the price goes up again -- the same people will come up with the same complaints.

although it is understandable to fear buying in right now with all the FUD that is flying around but people not buying when price is low is a common thing. and it has been around forever, that is how other traders can make money. when price is going down nobody buys but them and when it starts rising those people join in and traders sell to them on the top and create the fluctuations daily and make profit.

and right now, price of bitcoin is the stupidest thing in the world. it is going down for no reason except FUD. and if anything it should be going up. because even if the FUD is true you can have 2 sets of coins, double the invested coins!!

I'm in long term and overall it will go back up. The question is if there are other coins like ETH that could potentially go up faster (just like the run this past 2 weeks). But in my mind, alt coins are higher risk.

Current prices are quite low, and we can use this to make a profit in the future. I think bitcoin prices will rise next few days. we must be optimistic because bitcoin movement will gradually increase.

Bitcoin price is in $900 plus right now if the decreasing will continue probably bitcoin will be back into 500$ per coin or maybe less lets don't lose hope for this to happen lets wait for those investors who will pumped the bitcoin to back into price of 1200$
