You people can't have it both ways. You say that if we (the customer) paid for mining gear in BTC then request a refund BFL is only required to refund the USD equivalent b/c it was priced in USD. I'll concede that.

The same holds true with the wager. They announced 1000 BTC they owe 1000 BTC.

A Project Manager reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer, in this case Josh. I'm not sure who the PM is at BFL, but if there isn't one, then Josh, as COO, takes on that role as well. Either way, since the PM reports to the COO, the COO is aware of everything that happens in which the PM is in control of. If the COO doesn't know what's happening, then there's major problems at BFL.
