Just sold my trading stash. Price is climbing too fast. Short  positions prepared at 1140 USD. Lots of them...

you are definitely right, it is risky to buy right now if you are a daily trader, in my opinion the price is going to fall to at least 1050 before starting to climb even more than 1140 usd per bitcoin

Yes price is climbing rather to fast and it stands to reason to expect a fall in price for reasons of profit taking or panic selloff, but I don't see it falling freely - don't just expect dump of Bitcoin! Anyone looking to buy Bitcoin now had better think it through, because he/she might just be buying at the pick of the price which would entail selling at a loss or having to wait it out until the the price level is tested again in the future. To buy again, I would prefer to wait for price to come down to $800 - $900, outside any major news to start buying again.

Well we should really have to wait for the price will mark down of its track but eventually its hard to think when will it be dropping of its value. But yes there maybe dumping of bitcoins but we cant assure that will be the possibility or reason to make btc value to go down exactly. Most of the investors who buy doesn't wanted that to happen, and they were very intelligent to that trend of btc market.

Bitfinex just reached $1182.9 and is likely to rush further to $1200 in the coming says. That shows that he is only a spectator and does not hold a large stake big enough to make him keep quiet or maybe he is trolling because he has nothing else to do. The thing I find funny about people like these are they hold less than 1 Bitcoin and they think they can scare everyone and cause panic by starting a thread.

Even if OP has been saying the same thing since 2009, I happen to agree with him--at least somewhat.  We have been rising very fast, and it may just be speculation based on the ETF coming out.  Who knows.  But if anyone sold at $1200, that would be completely understandable.  You never know where the top is going to be in the market, but taking a profit when you have one is never a bad thing.

If that is the case this is a really weak FUD. Traders are smart enough to understand what the reality is and to be frank following major crypto news and graph is pretty easier than the traditional stock exchanges where we have to monitor global trends and situations . If the OP is happy to sell the coins at $1200 so be it.

Yup, what we are seeing is consolidation. Some traders might take profits at these high levels.
I think we will be in the $1000-$1200 range for a few days, before making a move in either direction.

prices like this which are pretty low are all about chances. yes in the long term and when you look at the bigger picture a $900 price at this point is pretty stupid but we are still relying on small exchanges with thin orderbooks with lots of panic sellers and lots of whales who manipulate.

the chance of this is only there if we see another 100KBTC hack and the ETF disapproval at the same time. otherwise it is zero.
