For some, this is the public announcement. I've put great work into this project prior to introducing it. Now that it's introduced, I'm all ears for suggestions on how to improve upon it, unlike other projects where their respective founders et al. have already locked in their ideals.

Hoping to make a little extra money uploading your videos to YouTube? They’ll need to be pretty popular.

Changes to the YouTube Partnership Requirements <green highlight theirs>

YouTube recently announced new guidelines to its Partner Program that limit the creators who can participate. Now, in order to participate in the program, the videos you upload to YouTube need to get a combined 10,000 views or more.

On the YouTube Creator Blog, vice president of product management Ariel Bardin says, “This new threshold gives us enough information to determine the validity of a channel. It also allows us to confirm if a channel is following our community guidelines and advertiser policies. By keeping the threshold to 10k views, we also ensure that there will be minimal impact on our aspiring creators.”

Now, if you’re a small business that’s already enrolled in the Partner Program, haven’t reached 10,000 total views, and have actually earned some revenue, you’ll still get the money. Whatever was earned by April 6 is yours, according to YouTube.

And when you finally reach the 10,000 view plateau, YouTube says it will put your channel through a review process. It will determine if the content currently on your channel meets the guidelines of the program.

Bardin says this is in response to creators who are copying others’ content and placing it on their own channel and generating revenue.

It can’t be ignored that these new guidelines were released after some major advertisers backed away from the site.

So, where does this leave your small business and its YouTube strategy?

It’s hard to imagine too many small businesses not complying with the new standards of the Partner Program. So, if content isn’t an issue, it’s just a matter of viewers to reach that threshold.

To get to 10,000 views faster, check out your current content — if there is any. Find out what worked best. What videos were watched the most? Determine why and replicate that winning formula.

Also, there’s little sense in putting all hopes on just a few videos. Topping 10,000 views is a lot easier with more videos.

And when you’re done uploading the videos to YouTube, spend time promoting your videos on social media or in email updates from your company. Post video embeds on your website, too.

Between cryptocurrency-cum-blockchain technologies enjoying an increase mind share and YouTubers seeking a viable revenue stream, it looks like we came along at the perfect time. 

Here are YuTü.Co.in's guidelines [after Beta launch]

• Have at least the same number of videos uploaded on YouTube as number of months since the channel was created
• Upload at least one video per month longer than 3:14 minutes in length or any number of videos exceeding the 3:14 threshold
• On your YouTube channel About page link to your page on our platform
• Link one additional time to your page on our platform via any Web presence you maintain
• We don't discriminate against any YouTubers - if your content is allow on YouTube, it's good enough for us
• Have at least X (TBD) number of subscriber when enrolling on our platforms

That's it. The more prominent the YouTube channel, the more money the creator will earn per share of their yAltcoin trading on our exchange, YTC-Sox.

It's been lean times for some of YouTube's most popular video producers. In the last two weeks ad rates have gone down as much as 75 percent. The producers are caught up in a struggle between advertisers and YouTube over ad placement.

In recent weeks, reports showed ads from major brands placed with extremist and anti-Semitic videos. Companies such as General Motors, Audi and McDonald's pulled out of YouTube. That means there's less money for everyone.

I'm thinking u need to introduce urself to those from whom u want to receive money so u can eventually spend that cash on ur personal needs. Nobody even knows who u are and whether u are older than 16. Bear in mind if u are not, u should immediately stop and remove urself from this forum as it's illegal in many jurisdictions to create ICOs while being under 16.
