there are no miners that support this algo, he wants you to mine only from the wallet, OCminer and others already offered to make a pool but it looks like they have already dropped it because the coins is worthless.
the developer has already changed the ticker of the coin and i agree that the name should also be changed so it wont be the fourth onecoin , as far as scam goes? i dont think its a scam but i do believe that the coin has no value and is just a very bad idea in general! i also think that the dev should abandon this project and go hide in an African desert and never have internet access again!

I dont think this KimBasinger character cares about this, this is clearly a satoshi nakamoto style release by someone with high coding skills that meet one onecoiner too many.

Plus if someone likes the code just fork it and change name and do a release.
 
I am only here for two things:

- to see how this proof of stake consensus will work as this could be a thing for Bitcoin future roadmap.
- to see if anyone from the onecoin (the one without the actuall blockchain) will post some comments or enlighten us

OCminer did not say that he dropped it. He is far more experienced in setting up pools for new algos than the other guy.

And you obviously do not know how to read (from the OP):

The developer will only be involved in providing the initial source code for a working coin (and compiling the windows wallet), everything else is left to the community: updating the code, developing other services like mining pools, faucets, translations, setting up slack (or similar chanels), getting the coin on an exchange, advertising, leaving the coin to die...etc

The coin was already abondoned by me. That was the idea from the start. I only pushed it until the launch.

Can you just go away and stop misinforming people. If you plan on staying, can you at least try to write a bit more pleasing. Like using cappital letters in the begining of a sentence.

And the market will determine the value, not some guy on a forum that does not know how to write plain english.

You are expecting quite a lot from a coin that launched today. So it has to have value, a pool, anything else? Can you maybe point me to the coin you made yourself so I can maybe learn some new skills? Your coin must be much better? Right?

That is an obsolete claim since the ticker was changed. Even if slightly before launch, so what?

The change was made pre-launch. No need for a version bump. The ticker has none whatsoever influence on the protocol. The ticker is only important for communication and exchange listings.

That is considered an advantage so the ASIC/GPU farms can not get in on it immediately and is available for CPU mining to normal users in the beginning.

Who is happy about it? What are you talking about? The pool operator messed up because he thought it is the normal sha256d that bitcoin uses. He was wrong so the pool is currently not in operation until the pool software is modified accordingly.

That is intentional to prevent instamine at low difficulty in the beginning and to provide time for everyone to get ready to participate in the mining.
