Should this miner also work for solo mining or only stratum? Trying directly via rpc to the wallet, gives segmentation fault...

That is NOT zcoin, it's zcash .. or better said a zcash variant.

And no, it's not supported by the miner.

why use the name onecoin it is ponzi

Well it has a different ticker Cheesy

here is the explanation, its on page 1:

Why the name?there's already an mlm coin named Onecoin, although I like the specs and the algos but people might mistke your coin to the mlm coin Onecoin, could have been better if we choose a unique name for your coin, but anyway goodluck

The name was picked intentionaly to make the scamers realize what a real cryptocurrency looks like, you can also consider it a marketing approach for this coin, I do not consider the ponzi OneCoin a cryptocurrency so it is a different product.

I never said this is a nice thing to do, but what they are doing with their ponzi is also not nice.

But like it is mentioned in the ANN, it is strongly encouraged that someone forks the coin. The name can be anything you want.

And also, like already mentioned, from my side this is only a social experiment, it is up to the community if this coin lives, changes its name, or whatever else...

I personaly do not care if it dies before the mainnet even starts.

Well so far it the coin didnt die, mainnet started, diff is going up... This will be a good show to watch Smiley

Wait are you promoting some new currency because as far as I remember there is another coin know as onecoin which was running a ponzi scheme and all the exchanges decided not to accpet onecoin so why would you make another coin with the same name.

There are no developers. This KimBasinger dude/dudes clearly aint gonna stick around for this for long. He/she already wrote why this was released and its up to the cryptocummunity how to procceed.

I on the other hand am starting to like this shit and will shurelly monitor how this evolves.
