Personally I'm not a bagholder of any coin. But also IMO it's pretty risky anyway. You better diversify your investments and stick with multiple but smallers holdings in different coins.

This is exactly what I do. Here is a good example. Let's say you "win" with your investment and make 7 wins and 3loses if you use the same amount each time you will profit. If you only pick one and its the losing one then you lose as if you had lost all 10 times.

This is the a good way to reduce the variance and it is a strategy used by all investors and traders in the world since it helps to reduce the risk of losing your money since you don’t have all the eggs in the same basket.

If you are a wise person you will surely make this thing on which you will diversify your money for you to be able to lessen the risk of getting broke when a particular coin crashed or dump all the way because you would hardly recover if you do put on a single coin better to have many but be sure to choose the best among the rest.Im holding some altcoin on my wallet and too many to mention.

I haven't read or heard these coins though I'm planning to hold and buy another coin. Because right now I've got XMR, ETH and DASH which are popular coins. I want to try out those who are not familiar with many but does have a chance to pump, I don't want those pump and dump coins, I want that has a very well road map.

Actually the big thing that I get experienced in my life with the altcoin trading is that , it is not a matter that which coin you hold for the trading and profit , matter is that at which condition and time you made buy this or hold this .
Usually I hold those altcoins which are at very low price and wait for 1-2 months became 200-300% increase in the price .
Usually I hold Putin , edrc , sib , eth ( not now ) , waves , Pak , dgb etc .
From these altcoins many times I multiplied my bitcoin about 2 to 3 times

This is really a good thing that never buy those altcoins or coin which are get pumped at high peak .
Here we can take a simple example that dash and ETH , the people are going to attract toward these two altcoins more and more but they are not thinking that they can't​ make a big Profit after buy at the high price .
Well here I bought less famouse altcoins and hold it for long time , the Reason​ to buy less famouse altcoins is because they have big difference in the buying and and selling orders .
Usually I bought pxi , tax , edrc , 1337 ( my bad luck) , edr currently it became ROM coin  , Ponzi . These gaves me better profit for me in trading life .

I am not a holder, I do day trading but if I ever felt like holding a coin for long term it needs to have a great team and a community behind it at a very early stage so that I can know it will only go up.
For example, radium seems to be doing that now, the price has been volatile lately but I feel like on the long term it will go up one day and will make a lot of early investors a lot of Money.

I'm getting ready to invest in #minexcoin in 46 days. Supposedly they are trying to solve volatility issue using mechanism borrowed from fiat currency.

I saw their site recently, and so far it looks promising. Hopefully, this would be another ICO full of opportunities for early investors, but I would advise to quickly sell some of your tokens to secure your profits, just in case everything fails.

If worth it, then it would be great to hold onto for the long term, otherwise it would be another altcoin or token.

As for me, I'm willing to hold onto those coins which are between the top 10 in marketcap, and have constant development and support from their communities.

For the coins that you're bagholding, you can burn them and receive Barr in exchange. Although, I'm not sure if this asset is still supported, it would be great if it does, to help encourage users to get rid of their altcoin holdings which have been constantly dumped. Just my opinion.

There is not really too much of a point if you buy coins that are near their max prices since it becomes too difficult to obtain profits and too easy to miscalculate and lose money as there is very little margin for you to win, that is why I tis better to invest in coins that are devalued.

Well, most altcoins out there are just pure speculation and hype, leaving only a few with true development and innovation. Since Ripple is centralized, it is prone to be manipulated by its members to their desired price levels.

Being an inflationary digital asset, it should turn out to become less valuable over time, making current price levels fall out shortly.

Regardless of that, there are only a few good coins that are worth holding onto, but some become abandoned by its own developer and community, making you hold the bag with worthless coins. If you were to hold good promising altcoins, those would be the top 10 in market cap, especially those with an established foundation and development team like ZCash and Ethereum. Just sharing my thoughts.

We are on the same fate pal, Im holding up lots of shitcoins in the past and now i do forgot some of them where i do replace them and most of them are on wallets.Some are placed on exchanges which i have been using as of now.I just let those shit coins on my bag still hoping for some pump but sadly it does really hurt when you expect too much out of it. Im only holding up ETH and some Dash.

As well as you, I used to have many coins relying on exchanges, which were prone to decrease in value over time. I had to handle many wallets, and they were a hassle considering that I had to sync each of them on my computer, taking a lot of my time. There were times where I had to wait a lot for sync to complete, just to sell that coin when its price was pumped.

Nevertheless, while I still hold many altcoins, I try to limit the number of coins I hold to avoid hassles in setting and maintaining wallets. I prefer to hold onto promising coins with good development team, that will survive for the long term. ETH, DASH, XMR and ETC are good enough for me.

There is a chance for ltc to get a pump as we recently saw a good increase in the price from 4$ to 10$. While byteball wouldn't be pumped anytime soon as far as i believe as it still has to make it to the top 10 in terms od market cap.
