I am closing my wood working business. I have been making drums and furniture since 1992.
I currently have a number of drums some with inlays of semiprecious stones. I sold these at arts festivals
and craft shows around the US, including 9 years at Jazzfest in New Orleans.
I am selling only for Bitcoins.

I will be posting others in the future along with some of my furniture.
I still have some that are unfinished. My standard drums are made of the finest
domestic hardwoods (Black Walnut, Cherry and Maple) I can do custom inlays on them.
I use Turquoise, Malachite, Lapis Lazuli, etc.

If interested in seeing others PM me and I will email you some pics.

This is a set of black lacquer drums. they are made of hardwoods.
The inlay is finely ground quartz from Arkansas
 They are 10"x20" and 11"x24"
They have goatskin heads. they are tuned using a standard drum key. The heads are easily replaced
if need be. The stand is a heavy duty Gibraltar Conga stand.
I will ship in three (3) separate boxes via UPS Ground Insured
Price is 22 Bitcoins. This includes shipping to anywhere in the Continental US.
Due to the high volatility of Bitcoins lately the price is subject to change.
Will be happy to escrow with a reputable escrow service

Do you have any video or audio of these? I'm a drummer and would love to hear them before I consider a purchase.

Thanks.

have an audio cassette with 8 middle eastern rhythms on it. it is an instructional tape i made. it was made with a drum the same size as the smaller of the pair.
they are tuned with a drum key so you can get a very wide range of sounds from very deep bass to real nice highs and slaps. for the tape i tuned it to sound like a dumbek. they have goat skin heads so there will be slight variations due to head thickness. most people would not notice.
if you are familiar with the subdudes steve amadee plays my drums on some cuts.
i was in a band a couple of years ago and we made some demos you can check them out here www.puravidalive.com/tunes/
the drum on these cuts is the smaller one (lot easier to haul to gigs) i am on the cuts but runaway. if you hit child that is the one that i had a chance to stretch it out on.
if you are interested pm me
thanks

These are really cool drums man, and I appreciate that they are hand-made, but 30BTC is way too high for a couple of hand drums... You can get a really high quality hand-made djembe for ~4.4 BTC elsewhere.

if you are interested in an imported drum from africa then i suggest that you buy one. when i priced these originally they were 22 btc. which included shipping and escrow. the price of btc dropped to $68 thus i raised the price. i would grind these up and season to taste sautee and eat them before i sold them for less. but since i am the artist who designed and made them i am obviously in a better position to know their actual worth. thanks for your interest and enjoy your high quality djembe

Will somebody just buy these damn drums? Somehow they are always at the top of the Marketplace posts lol.
Also you can use a MtGox ticker. But if its your way of bumping your thread, bump away.

dont change the price if BTC goes up. you dont want em. no one wants em MAYBE if you let the price slump they will sell.

to someone who does not know what he/she is looking at yes indeed they are expensive.
for someone who can appreciate art these are ridiculously cheap.
