Tetris

Hey guys, I'm a fan of playing Tetris ever since it was released. I tried the old times like in the Game boy or in the IBM PC version. I studied different tactics like 4 space, Stacking, and my specialty, T-Spin. It's so fun with all the colors (when it has colors now not just shapes). It's fun.

Have you played it? And what is your playing style?

Yeah, I used to play Tetris. My father presented me it when I was 6. It was my favourite game. Then, when I was 8, my father presented me Tetris with different mods, including tanks and racing.

I played Tetris too many times to count on so many different systems. I think of it as a classic game such as chess. I was never really good at it but it sure was a great way to kill off some time before you had to go back to school for a class.

I watched a Tetris tournament few months ago, man.. these guys are true hardcore Tetris players, i was stunned how fast these guys are.

Bundled with the Gameboy way back was a smart decision !
I was playing it in the arcade too when the GB came out.
It always had a crowd around it for sure.. good game.

I don't think i am very good at it though.. nor do i know what style i use.

I played Tetris on an old PC many years ago, quite a fun distraction.

Moderrn games like Bejewled are just blatant ripoffs of Tetris, I hope who ever created the game originally is getting some sort of royalties from the various versions in use now.

I liked being able to shift a piece sideways down a chute to shore up a gaping hole (providing the pieces weren't falling too quickly that is).

In his time on a portable device this game is perceived well and it was fun to play. But when we went to leave the new TV in the 90s with Tetris, so I started a depression. Because the movie was not possible to look at all like the game used to play on the TV in the break on advertising.

I dont play tetris in IBM. But i am playing it in my android phone. Tetris is classic game but it is not make me boring

It is really a legendary game that is enjoyed by millions and sometimes forgotten in this age. I don't know why it's hilarious for you in the PC version but it's fun to play with. The original style, not those with variations of some sorts.

That's a lot man! Great job in doing that. I have forgotten mine but it was around 1000+ lines I guess. Not the best but still, it's far better than others. But that world record though, 999999999999999999999. Lol

Anyone play on the fceux emulator? It seems to lag slightly. Is there a difference between playing in the emulator and playing the original on the NES with an old monitor - latency wise?

This was the hottest game of the 90s, I think.
