The media is over reacting the numbers of death and all blaming it to the president. Tho it might be true that his war on drugs killed tons of life, it isn't his order alone that lead to those people deaths. It may be the drug sindicate itself killing innocent people to make a bad image of the war on drug project in the media.

I can partially agree with you. Compare the war on drugs in Mexico, to that in the Philippines. As per the conservative estimates, the Mexican Drug War has caused around 100,000 deaths. The number of deaths from the drug war in Philippines is just a small fraction of that number.

They all blamed the killings on the government of the Philippines. And the President said that he didn't ordered the killing of all of them, but UN thinks differently. But the UN can't do anything they can say whatever they want but Duterte will do his thing. And what sanctions will the UN against the President of the Philippines? He is fighting the drug problem in his country and don't want the Philippines to be like Mexico, where drugs are very rampant and the government can't do anything.

So what you are saying is, it's OK to kill people that are addicted to drugs? Take a person's life, that gas family, kids, a place in the community, because the are enslaved to a substance and need help shaking it? Can we kill  all fat people? Clearly they are addicted to foid? Surely they must die, right? Drugs are bad, m'kay.

The Philippines is predominantly Christians, no? Makes me wonder, because clearly this is not the fuck what Jesus would do. he would spin zestily in his non existent grave.

And if Mexico only killed 3 people, so the fuck what? Are you seriously comparing genocide to genocide? What to see who has the longer dick? Killing your fucking citizens is usually a bad idea. They pay taxes and shit, for the most part. Thats like saying it cool to rape nuns and babies because the other guys raped.twice as many as us.

Second place asshole is still, 100 percent genuine asshole.

Tell me why killng your customers, that are lifelong customers because your product is addictive, is a good idea.

McDonald's doesn't poison the burgers.

Budweiser doesn't rig the beer.

You don't have to pretend to make this look bad. It's fucking terrible, optically, on its lonesome. And while you may have never taken a drug in your life, is killing someone, denying them the chance to live and love, to fuck, to breathe, to be human and alive goddamnit, worth it because they are addicted to a drug? How are they going to get better, and help others to get better with their perspective, if they are slumped in a fucking ditch with a piece of lead lodged in their head? I pray none of your family falls prey to a substance. Because they will be so much cold meat. Fuck turning ones life around. You had a chance, now you blew it, so you die. That's totally reasonable. Jesus would certainly do this. With the Buddy Christ thumbs up.

Of course, I'm against drugs, but I do not accept. They need to be judged by the law. It seems to me that Duterte under the guise of fighting drug abuse to punish his opponents. As for McDonald's it is not proved that their chops poison.

Don't want to be rude here but I feel pity for those posters here who doesn't lived in the Philippines but still have lots of shit sayings. How come they will know the situation here if there only reference is the MEDIA? Come on, everything you read in the internet is not always true.

What if drug addicts/users/pushers fights back when being arrested? Police will just watched even they are receiving lots of bullets? How heroic.

What about the drug user victims? Is it ok to kill innocent people, raped girls randomly at any age, do hostages and robbery because the person involved was addicted to drugs? Does it have a consideration because the suspects are drug addicts?

Other people have no idea how big the drug problem here in the Philippines prior to Duterte's occupancy at the Presidential office so stop saying non sense thing which people really doesn't have an idea. You are just one of the people who just uses media news as references without thinking outside the box.

People here are into human rights but for years passed they didn't even see or being read in a news that a Commission on Human Rights or UN are doing investigation of drug related victims. Can't even sees them saying they condemn the activity. Random rapes, hostages, robbery, killings, just for fun killings etc. Right now that drug users are being the one that killed they are spending too much time to investigate. How pathetic.

We have addicts in America too, love. We have gotten past the crack cocaine epidemic, the synthetic cannabinoids/stimulant epidemic, and are in the grips of the largest epidemic, opioids, as we speak. We kill our citizens, but mostly because they are poor or Black, not because they are addicted.

You were saying something about not understanding addition...?

And the reason there is a drug problem is because the economy is fucked up. Drugs only become an issue when people start killing each other to get them. Usually, that's a poor thing. I can afford pot, I don't have to stab a motherfucker to get my fix.

And you don't need to be on drugs to commit crimes. It's pretty easy. Rape happens when people are sober. Just like murder. And theft. Humans don't need special states of mind to be shits. It's apparently pretty easy.

If a person uses drugs it is likely that sooner or later he will commit a crime. The constant craving for drugs leads to the fact that people simply do not have the money to buy them and they commit robberies and murder.

Im expecting a much boarder and clearer respond but it doesn't go that way.

Clearly you guys are just using media as reference/s that's why all I read is just a random thoughts about other people's view outside PH in the country's current war on drugs. I understand that you didn't have much knowledge about what Im trying to say since you are there and Im here literally.

Well maybe Im out as this discussion will lead to nowhere.

Don't run! We have so much to discuss!

And why shouldn't we trust your media, or international media? Damn this fake news, it strikes again (that's sarcasm).

No, I'm saying you are being naive to assume only your country has a drug problem. We have people nodding off in the grocery store, high on heroin, with the kids running around unattended. You guys didn't invent getting high. You don't even produce your own drugs. And I think I have a bit more expertise with substance than you, but I won't get into that. I have trafficked with coke heads and heroin addicts. They are people with a bad situation, not fucking animals to be put down. As your culture gets more used to drug epidemics, you will approach a treatment model rather than a punishment model for dealing with addicts, like other nations.

And for your soul, love, please never think that another human has the right to take another life. This portfolio belongs solely to our Lord. Imprisonment, for life, but never the right to deny breath. But you may not be Christian. So no worries.

Would you leave a child fatherless, because his dad was getting high? Answer me, please. Does the kid deserve that, even if his pops did? Because people don't die in a vacuum.

It's not like much comes out of the UN decisions and advice these days as I highly doubt Duerte will care at all about what they say about him and his attempt at completely removing the intense drug epidemic that is present in the Philippines at the moment.

The U.N may come out and say something like this that they don't condone the actions in which he is going through in order to remove the drug epidemic, the thing that I'm confused upon is that if they have a plan in order to get rid of the drug trade in the Philippines. I personally doubt that they have a plan compared to Duerte, who has a grusesome plan but it is still plan that they're following through with.

Fuck the UN.

I doubt this will make any difference, considering how he really can't take criticisms. The only surprising thing is that I haven't seen him going on a "fuck you all!" spree yet. That or I haven't been watching the news. Or maybe they've finally learned. They removed the guy whose name must not be spoken from public appearances. Being confrontational when people are asking clarifications (especially since everyone in the damn palace contradict each other) is not a good approach.

He never listens to anyone. And trust me, he can afford to do that as long as he enjoys widespread popular support. If you remember, he used the same tactics even when he was serving as the Mayor of Davao.

He is a good actor. He rides on what the mass wants him to do and probably it will end up again in that "Fnck you" if someone criticized his decision again. It's more like he thinks that it's better that clandestine news should only be there, and anyone who wants to criticize are not welcome.

Looks like Philippines are nearing into like North Korea and other countries who censor news in and out.

Censorship is everywhere, even in the United States. And as far as I know, Duterte is not actively purging his opponents or the media. So I won't say that he is crossing the limit right now. But we don't know what will happen in the future.

What's irritating is he only seem to be that popular because his followers tend to be more fanatical. 38% of total votes is hardly majority but when they talk to critics they use phrases like "we the majority wanted him to be president". His fanatics (and those who oppose them) are  really just a small segment, the rest of the population is just ambivalent - just like we've always been towards politicians.

This is a problem of democracy. Always an active minority can change the situation in the country and not always for the better. It's not an excuse that the majority has an ambivalent position. All will suffer and there is a shared responsibility at all.

His fanatics is more like a cult now, they are sharing the same idea, and keep on using it when someone is against them, but if you ask them explanation, all they can say is they are tired of the previous administration, you are an anti poor, you are a yellowtard, or worst, they will curse you. Cheesy

But I do believe that all of this will have an end.

With regards to UN, I think it's normal.

Very good. President Rodrigo Duterte.

I think all the propaganda wars from both sides now is to try to mobilize that 62% for their own goals. It's sickening really. They're courting disaster. Once those people finally get enough, they'll all have their heads on the guillotine.

Well of course. But for whom? Would you like to get shot on the street? Never good things you can't do bad techniques. The law can be maintained only by the law.
