What would it cost to get a 10 character prefix?

Short answer: I can't do it.

Long answer: I'll show some examples:
1Legendster: about 400 years for 50% chance on my hardware.
1bitcoin111: about 24000 years for 50% chance.
Starting with a lower case "b" is 58 times more difficult than starting with "L".

If you would have 10,000 prefixes with 10 characters each, it might be possible to hit one of them in a few months. That's how I got my addy starting with 1NewbornSeat.
Note that more modern hardware can easily be 10 or more times faster than mine.

Same way using Bitaddress.org except you prefix the combined private key with p2wpkh: if you are using Electrum. I'm not too sure on how it works on Bitcoin Core though and I couldn't find anything on importing bech32 from a quick google. (side note: Electrum's different key format is probably why importing the p2sh-p2wpkh didn't work? It did work without using split key so I really have no idea)

Yes, done with VanitySearch. I can do 6-7 characters for free with bech32, and a maximum of 8 characters if you're willing to pay. 9+ would take too long with my current hardware at the moment. I can't get bc1qbltcryptex, but you can perhaps you'd like this?

Using a GTX 1060 3 GB at the moment and getting around 220 MKeys/sec with split key. Finding bc1qcryptex took under 5 minutes.
