As far as I can understand, LoyceV giveaway addresses are secure to use for personal transaction. However, it has several flaws as well. For example, if LoyceV wants, he can check where are you sending BTC and/or from where you receive BTC as this will be a known address to LoyceV. If possible, you would rather generate one address by yourself and use that.

A tutorial to using Bitcoin goes beyond the scope of this topic, and there are enough of those around already. In short, importing a private key in Electrum works smoothly.

I'm wondering why you're stating the obvious: the address is posted in public, of course anyone can link it to an account now. But even if you create a vanity address by yourself, if you use your username for it, it's still quite obvious.

Have you imported the address only which mean watch only mode? Or did you imported the private key? According to the screenshot, it's a watch only mode. Have you tried to import the private key? What does it say?

I believe that every time I've tried this, it hasn't worked for whatever reason without requiring the user to download VanitySearch themselves to reassemble the key. I don't really want to encourage people to download random software, so I'm no longer offering this service unfortunately. A short 4-5 character address should be pretty quick to generate (even on slower hardware) if you wanted to try it yourself though.
