Since you are a newbie and you are saying that you won't go first I suggest that you say that escrows are available and pick one from this list (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0) to do your deals with.

Just to be safe (for you and the buyer).

I just spoke with him and he immediately said he won't go first and told me sorry for wasting my time. I never asked him to send first or anything so be cautious and demand to use escrow people
