The core of the project is the knowledge base and the API is an evolution of it which first requires enough information in the knowledge base. The timeline is the same as Ethereum having different releases such as Frontier (Test phase), Homestead, Metropolis, and Serenity. We've already stated that the first alpha release will be in Q3 2017 so the project will be released in a couple months and go through a test phase and then the official release will occur a couple months later.  We avoid cutting corners and shortcuts to ensure the safety of token holders and maximize the quality of the mainnet release.

I don't see much success to encyclopedia these days, most users are going to different pages on the internet in face they search on youtube for answers not on wikipedia. But its good if you ask for fee to list pages of some people or company tried to acquire authority to rank on the search engines.

So it is only 2 years API that you see and comment on, what about all the goodies that comes with the project. It is in public domain that this is a long term project. This is not a small project especially when you are looking to go into thesame market with Wikipedia.

You don't have to ask permission here. Go ahead and read the whole post so you know what is the plan of the coin and then carry on by visiting the website. Read the whitepaper and other information that seems to be useful for you to identify if it has a good potential. Next thing, if you're confident with your decision, then invest by reading how to do so in their website.

There's plenty of time to invest, everyone. Crowdsale ends on 26th of next month (April).

Lunyr will release the crowdsale instructions next week, a day before the crowdsale starts. Keep an eye out for the updates.

So why people will use your scam with advertising instead of ad free wikipedia and that's wrong with centralized wikipedia (you will download "your" articles from anyway)?

You can check their WP, it solves centralization, censorship and reliability problems that a single "host" could and will eventualy have.

wikipedia can only be trusted when you are researching about things that have no controversy in them. for example if you lookup things like mathematical formulas, well-established facts and ideas in the hard sciences wikipedia will be okay to use. but if you look at entries about history, political figures and other controversial things, you may not find the things you are looking for. it is obvious there are certain things they are censoring
