The Eleos GUI wallet currently support Zcash and Zclassic, and will support ZenCash in the future. These wallets are in active development by @movrcx, and are available at this site for download:

https://github.com/zencashio/eleos

I am currently running the Linux and Windows version of the Eleos wallet, and they work great. I'll be testing the Mac version as well, and as far as I can tell from what people are saying on the ZenCash slack, it works well also.

I currently have the ZCL wallet 0.0.8 for Windows.

Will it be supporting Zen or shall I go for the Eleos wallet ?

The ZCL Windows wallet will do fine, what matters is that you have the private keys

OK thanks, but it's not clear to me where I have to upload the ZCL private keys to get ZEN.
Will there be a ZEN extension within the ZCL wallet ??

I'll be doing a video and posting it on the ZenCash YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQ0v_lUnZHIKUQUXJzfgqOg
and the ZenCash blog at: https://blog.zencash.io/

You can already do this with the Eleos wallet between Zcash and Zclassic now. Export the Wallet file from Eleos in Zclassic and import it into Eleos in Zcash. That will pull your Zclassic private keys into Zcash.

Is Bittrex going to honor the ZCL hodling and auto-add the ZEN?

Yes today or tomorrow we will make that happen. Though I'm not sure why they would honor anonymous coins now that darknets markets announced that they are dropping support for Dash. Regardless, Zencash will become much more valuable once a new revision of eleos wallet supporting ZEN comes out. I expect things to pan out when there's an update.

Secure Node FAQ

Q: What are the requirements for a Secure Node in order to participate in the 3.5% portion of the mining reward?

A: Secure Node requirements:

1. Operate ZenCash node software on a capable system.
    a. Recommended memory is more than 4GB
    b. Decent internet connection
    c. Secured to prevent hacking.
2. Maintain entire ZenCash blockchain on the system.
3. Provide a valid SSL certificate to the ZenCash Node software to use for communicating with other nodes and wallets.
4. Keep at least 42 ZenCash on the server in a t_address for staking
5. Monitor the SecureNode channel for challenge messages from SecureNodeHQ approximately every 10 minutes (in a z_transaction message field)
6. Respond to challenge with identifying information of the Secure Node.
7. Challenge response will be a combination of two things:
    a. Send a shielded message to SecureNodeHQ containing public t_address and GNUnet document location in message f   ield
    b. Publish a document to GNUnet signed with private t_address including:
        i. public t_address of staking Zen, which will also be used for reward payment.
ii. SSL certificate and IP address
        iii. Block header from blockchain
iv. Other information that may be necessary to make sure it is a unique server
8. Other potential requirements that may come up in future to allow ZenCash system to use the Secure Nodes for consensus and computing power

The Secure Node tracking system will publish the challenges, and the responses from the Secure Node will be tracked and published on a web page for visibility. Payments will be done on a regular basis.

Q: Will you publish a guide on how to set up and run a Secure Node?

A: Yes we will publish a guide on how to set up and run a Secure Node. Coming soon on the ZenCash Blog at https://blog.zencash.io

Q: If I have no Linux skills will you show me how to set up and run a Secure Node?

A: If you are completely unfamiliar with how to use Linux then it probably won't be something appropriate for you to do. The priority in compensating Secure Nodes is to make sure the ZenCash network has a good amount of nodes with sufficient computing power and security to operate the system reliably.

This means we want the people who are operating Secure Nodes to understand what they are doing, which is why we are intentionally placing a lower limit on technical skill to operate them. And asking people to put 42 ZenCash on the Secure Node at risk. This is by design, so the operator of the Secure Node makes the system secure.

As soon as Bittrex confirms to the ZenCash core team that there will be support for the Zclassic and ZenCash chain split we'll post an update here. Not making any promises until there is firm commitment.

Here is a guide on how to move your Zclassic off Bittrex onto your own wallet, export Zclassic keys, then import them to the ZenCash wallet: https://blog.zencash.io/transfer-zclassic-to-eleos-wallet-and-copy-private-keys/

There are other ways to export Zclassic keys from your wallet and import them into a new ZenCash wallet also, of course, the above is just one example.

That's correct. You need to wait for the fork on the 23rd. I think that was origianlly happening on April the 29th, but now is confirmed for the date you mention. This is mentioned in the FAQ section of the website: https://zencash.io/  (Can I invest in Zen prior to launch?).

oh dear what people don't realize is that a 10mil marketcap for what zen is offering is peanuts, censorship-resistant communications and anonymous economy deserves 100m as a starting point, lets do this!
