The fork really isn't that confusing.

IF you held ZCL at block 110,000 while, which occurred on May 11th.

You MAY be able to receive zen IF:
1) on may 11th, when that block was found you were holding the coins in a private wallet for which you have access to the private keys (Eleos, ZCL wallet)
2) you were holding those coins on Bittrex

If 1:
You must import your keys into a zen wallet WHEN IT IS RELEASED

If 2:
You should already see the credited ZEN in a Bittrex wallet that is not accessible until the release, now next Tuesday 05/30

Until the livenet is brought up you can not claim, transfer or mine ZEN.

AT THIS POINT BUYING ZCL WILL NOT GET YOU ANY ZEN, BUT YOU WILL GET SOME ZCL AT A CHEAP PRICE

if you didn't hold ZCL at the fork block, your only options to now get ZEN will be to buy it or mine it WHEN the chain goes live.
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I had read build-zencash-secure-node, and i think i will build one!!!

where is the SOP for build node? can you posts the links here ?
how many coins require for a node?
This is a guide that I wrote for preparing to build the node - part 1. It has summary at the bottom of the things that will need to be done to completely build the Secure node.

Once the Zen node software is stable I'll publish part 2.
https://blockoperations.com/build-zencash-secure-node-part-1-prepare-vps/

You will need 42 ZEN for the node.

3.5% of the coinbase reward will get distributed to nodes meeting requirements for Secure Nodes.

Very good to see your notice. I'm waiting for new updates from you, Dev.
Is this coin available for trading on the bittrex exchange after official wallet running.?

Time to buy ZCL .

Because the zencash is delayed so if I buy some zcl now then May I have a bonus zen coins with ratio 1:1 ?
Do I need tranfer zcl coin on the exchange to my private wallet?

who knows what they did with the code but in theory if you convert to a private address it loses track of what block it was mined and if it has already been converted to ZEN. So in theory you can get as many ZEN as you want, just backup the ZCL folder and replay :-) Bittrex forced them to implement changes because of this and other potential double spend situations, so we will see

Really?  So I just need to transfer the ZCL from Bittrex to my private address to get the ZEN?

Can someone confirm, if that can be true? I am not a specialist, but I think when the snapshot was taken on block 110 000, they copied the whole Blockchain to ZEN.

So If I have 1 ZCL before the snapshot I have 1 ZEN also because this transaction is stored in the chain (ZCL and ZEN).

If I bay now 1 ZCL after the snapshot and send it to my walltet, to t or z address, it doesn't matter, I will NOT have 1 ZEN because this transaction is not in the ZEN chain, only in ZCL chain.

That is how I understand that. Correct me if I'm wrong.

coins stored in private address don't keep info on the block they were mined. I believe they lose all info, is as if they don't exist. That has been one situation that people have been talking about ZEC because there's no way of verifying if the coin was mined or not. Is my understanding any coins you keep private on your wallet are converted to ZEN, no questions asked. Maybe any of the developers can talk about what measures if any they are doing to prevent a double spending of private addresses. They should have released the coin from scratch. These hard fork situations have created more problems then one would expect and hope. By the way, all of my ZCL coins are private, never taken to bittrex

maybe this type of info it´s private and encrypted into the snapshot, i mean "hidden, like a shield" not "lost" into the 110k block.  I espected a fork from zcash, not feeling comfortable with this "alt fork trend". Maybe they are 100% sure to solve all issue quite easily.

Is there any miner for Nvidia cards?

Yes, EWBF miner works excellent. I have several GTX 1060 rigs and that's what I currently use.

What is better for mine Equihash-AMD RX 580 4 or 8GB?
Or Nvidia 1060 6 GB?
You use only 1060?

Hi, I'm keeping an eye on this project, but the postponement scared me because several rumors are coming up, however, I'll be watching.

You use only 1060?

I have a rig with 6 RX480s 4GB which give around 1740 H/s @ ~980Watts (using a 1200W 80plus gold PSU)
I also have two 6 GTX1060 3GB rigs which give around 1620 Sol/s @ ~720 Watts (using a 1200W 80plus Platinum PSU)
Lastly I have a rig with 4 GTX1060 and a single GTX 1080 which gives me around 1560 Sol/s @ ~660Watts (using a 1200W 80plus platinum PSU)

Keep in mind all those numbers abovee are with some heavy undervolting and underclocking.

RX 580s are the same card as RX 480s but with a more aggresive bios (consume much more electricity)

I don't think the amount of Vram affects the hashrate (if anything) unlike ETH.
The GTX 1060s hash a bit less than the RX 480s (same as 580s) but consume much less power.
I would recommend the GTX 1060s, although the 480s are much more versatile for other coins.

It's all relative to what your goals are. You won't mine much Zcash running two single 1080s (about 960 sol/s with both). It all depends on what  your goals are, I can't be the one to answer that Grin.

Yes right, not a real goal in mind just thinking to build a gaming desktop and if i can use it also for mining would be great. Maybe for me is a waste of time, better buy coin in exchange.

So I remember when "Zero Coin" was a concept that one of the negatives was that it was going to take forever to process (like Bitcoin) and that it would have to be seeded with some number (which could be abused by the person placing the seed). Does those things still apply to Zencash?

Of course not.

Zen has a different algorhythm. It´s related to Zcash most closely.

Quote
The ZenCash network target size is to be at least 1,000 fully operational nodes. At this size at least 7.40 zen will be rewarded to each node operator. In the event the ZenCash network size has not been reached the DAO may allocate some of its discretionary funds to encourage node deployment.

Only 7.4 zen pay for a node / month , I think that is bad bargain for who is own zen node!
