I'm not sure how much of a selection there is out there, but any recommendations on Anti-virus/anti-spyware/anti-malware programs for mac?

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I'm not a Mac user but I've heard of one called Mac Defender... Smiley
(just kidding - do NOT go install Mac Defender, although there is a legit product called Mac Defender there's also a virus called Mac Defender.)

I'm sorry, I know that's not helpful but I had to say it.

Trust me, I know about that Tongue Hopefully someone else will bring in something good. I don't know a lot of mac users who actually bother with security, and it's silly.

ClamAV has a Mac version. Trivial googling will bring up the proper site.

I saw that, any good? I've seen some mixed opinions on it, but not a lot of detail.

Very good experience with Little Snitch (http://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/index.html) here. It does not come for free but it is well designed in monitoring any outgoing network activity and let you decide very fine grained (by port, by server, until program shuts down, forever) if this activity is to be allowed.
