Indeed stop buying now so that I can buy cheaper Bitcoin next week when my paycheck arrive.  I do not have money atm so I cannot take advantage of the dump.  So am telling you guys to stop buying LOL.

Well we cannot stop people to panic buy since they are now seeing Bitcoin 100 dollar cheaper. And especially those who bought at around $1000, Im' sure they are happy and thinking that they already secured a profit by buying early during dumps.

I highly doubt it. We already recovered most of the ground lost yesterday after a huge letdown. I'm sure we'll never dip below $1000 unless a huge hack happens.

i keep reading around this forum a lot and the majority of the people believe that we recovered and we never going again under $1000 and we go to the moon etc stories.

my experience from the 2012-13 is that when everybody say on thing do the opposite. now in my personal trading strategy this is not important at the moment since i sold at 1180 euro after at 1142 euro. before the dump. before the ETF and we have some dumps , small but there are in the charts, i predicted them and you can see my posts on wall observer thread.

This proposal of this thread may be sounds like troll and can also be i don't know, but this is what personally i follow, what we see until now what the bots trading, i tried also to trade and lucky for me i did not because it was just not working on 2 exchanges and i tried from user panel and with API ( the api worked but i canceled the order ).

So what has saved the situation up to know in my opinion is that in fact the people could not trade, IF something starts and people are in position to trade normal we will have different effect.

This is not the time to stop buying because the demand of bitcoin increasing day by day, people are buying bitcoins as much as they can because in coming month the price will reach highest price and they all will get a good profit. It's just simple. If people dont' want to buy then so be it. Regrets happened "after" not "before" so if you will not take the risk then it's a common thing that you will regret if the thing happened not goes on your desired way.

Look at the price today, a $50+ increase now during 8 hours monitoring. We can really see that with the current bitcoin price, there are still lots of buy volumes which we expected since then.

Many hours later and we have gone over the $1200 level again. At this point I personally prefer a longer term view when buying Bitcoin than just thinking about quick profits. But if you want to benefit from short term fluctuations, then that's of course perfectly understandable. In that case you could save 75% of your stash for the long term, and have the other 25% that you can use for short term trading purposes. It will allow you to benefit from both the short and long term at the same time.

I didn't say it was stupid to buy, I was trying to convince enough people not to buy to let the price drop further. Pretty new to coin trading so I was expecting a much larger dip and didn't move.

I don't get it if you are telling that we shouldn't buy now then when should we buy when the price reaches more than $2500 end of the year.
In bitcoin mostly whatever price you have bought till now or even the current profit you will be in profit i don't know about future maybe next

This is a common fallacy related to trade.  People can't just follow the market as it is moving because by the time the trend is big enough to be noticeable, it's too late and you'll end up buying high and selling low.  The main people who make profit are the people who do a combination of recognising past trends in the market.  What they also need to do is predict future trends in the market by recognising possible news and predicting the results of things that happen (e.g. the ETF).  If you do it when you see other people do it, you're too late.  You're only on time if you see what's making them buy/sell.

Buying now is an OK or moderately bad idea.  The ideal time to buy was right after the ETF when there was a brief panic sell bringing the price to under $1100, or even before when there was some volatility right at the start of the year.  The ideal time to sell will be after block size issues are sorted and Bitcoin starts being used more commonly as a currency, raising its price, unless you are the sort of person that trades daily, in which case there are numerous places to buy and sell.

Where is the bottom? We are speculating about the price here and bitcoin price have tendency to go down after every rise, but I always they to think outside of the box, what if this is the new bottom?
On some questions I don't have answer, in moments I'm really confused. I'm satisfied how the price is holding for now, and if we look at that conclusions are that this price can be the new bottom. We will see what will happen, but I'm optimistic about bitcoin in next few weeks, especially how we handle after ETF rejection.

Why do you stop buying when it is consolidating? It is the perfect time to buy because after the consolidation, the price will start to go up again. The bulls are exhausted right now, but the bears have not pulled the price down. So it means, more time to buy while the price is still low. You may regret it later if you do not get in now.
