As of now Bitcoin value over dollar is $1185.50 and I think it's been a couple of weeks now that bitcoin doesn't move a bit and there are no speculations right now of what kind of movement it can go, I in my opinion the $1300 pump you so was a disruptive value increase and it doesn't stay long enough as you can see then the bitcoin was drop to $900 dollar back then, then goes back on the value that you see right now!

Not long after that, the same trader did exactly the same thing, but then in the opposite direction, which resulted in some sort of a flash crash. If that trader didn't pull the trigger, we wouldn't have touched the $1300 level.

As long as we compare btc to fiatmoney btc doesnt fullfill its destiny. I like to compare it to gold or other crypto, not some premined centralized scam called the dollar. I have heard that the supply is unlimited and that its used by lots of big criminals and the finance war & drugs. It has no blockchain so i think its just like onecoin. A big bad scam.

We hit $1300 at a point? I guess I wasn't paying enough attention a few months ago.

As for what could happen at this point, it seems like there are some people looking at Bitcoin more again, how that there's some progress with the blocksize debate, along with some advances in other transaction-related technology like what's going on with the Lightning Network.

Flash crashes near new ATHs and the like are almost always something that happens because some whales blows their load too early, but Bitcoin seems to have a really strong resilience for stuff like this. Just check the market.

As for OP, I'm thinking we're going to experience slow-ish growth until we reach that point, but it is possible to see a rise of $50 (give or take) in a day which would propel Bitcoin up to $1300.

I didn't notice that the price of bitcoin will rise back again at above $1,200 but hoping that the price could be touch again in $1,300
Since bitcoin right now still in good condition.. and no bad news about bitcoin there are possibility that the price could be touch back to $1.3k.
Just lets home this week we will experience and see will increase more the value of bitcoin.

Don't mind reaching it and just go with the current flow of bitcoin price. Set your goals in two aspects of the bitcoin price movement whether hugging the dip via FUD, negative news etc. and execute your buying move or holding the coins and wait for the price peak before the sudden crash. Just remember that the recent bitcoin price increase gives us a hint to buy coins every dip and challenge the risk. BTU can consider as a serious FUD but looks how bitcoin price established it's great support and recovers to what it is today.

In fact it is better to wait for stabilized situation on the market before we reach $1300.

I am agree. 1300$ price is close now again. Maybe we will see it this or next week already. But I am also sure in the fact that bitcoin will only continue it's grow and 1300$ is not the limit.

Drama is always there on bitcoin world and we would definitely reach up again $1300 price or even more on this year but its just all speculation since most bitcoin users arent get tired of speculating on bitcoins price.
We would love to see high prices but we should be patient as of now its still clinging up to the mountain and high price would be expected soon.

Its good to see that price is moving in positive direction and everyone is hoping to see the higher price of bitcoins in coming days but the common issue with bitcoin is that no one knows what exactly will happen but I think slow and steady rise is better then major pump.

So, do you want to take a big risk just try to grab some bucks? It looks like a risky decision. But bitcoin still need another demand to pump its price to the moon. UASF will being one of the important reasons.
Looks like segwit will being true for bitcoin and $1300 will be real in the future.

well if you are just aiming for small earnings yes that can be okay, but if you are looking for some long term investment it's still nice to buy and hold
until the end of this year again who knows what will happen maybe 1500$ will be possible or 2k$ as well. good luck and happy waiting for the price to step up even more.
