You changed the reward? It was a constant 7.77 before, now it seems to be going down very slowly
This is a new chain and it doesn't solve old chain issues, also this is done by a newbie which is not the dev, so why would you mine on this chain? Dude you need to go learn how to read source code. Old chain was severely fucked it was XDN fork not way to solve old chain issue. New chain is BCN fork and uses Forknote Daemon which prevents issue from happening. This newbie seems to know alot more than your dumb ass |

For that last time the DEV SAID THE OLD CHAIN WAS FUC'D then he left to do farm work. Unfortunately you may be right. I've tested , mined , up to a million coins, no issues. It keeps getting stuck from some invalid version, at first an issue was I had to restart the seed nodes because they were only running from the ssh, and the process stopped when the power when out ,another time it was from the seed node sending mined coins to a version I was playing with, but all in had to do was synch up the versions. It seems like someone has taken advantage of the network in an attempt to inject coins or freeze the chain.
I unfortunately have been busy ,i will see about some other ways to correct this, but a new chain may be needed. If that's the case maybe I will do my best to return your coins with he new chain.
Also the new chain will have an update , because might as well.
If the issue was from low network security then its best to start off stronger to increase security and to get on an exchange.
Now I'm off to clear a half acre of brush and 4 ft tall grass.

She (I think it's a she) might have fixed the issues, though it will be a moot point if the community does not accept it. For all we know, when the dev comes back he might have his own ideas to fix or do a relaunch with coin swap. I really doubt he will appreciate this uninvited fix. But... you never know. In any case, I directed 2 cores from another cryptonote nobody knows or cares about to this. So no big loss eitherway. An if it happens to be accepted, I'm practically getting free coins. Now will weedgalz please tell me why the reward was changed? Just curious |

Original was set to 77secs and and thats an invalid param only whole numbers and it was way too fast now set to 120 sec. This effects emission directly and factor and also reward. WTF was his fixation with 777? Are we playing slots. Orig Dev, pool operators get alotment of premine provided they supply proof of actual reward to swap coins. This can be recovered from their files. |

This is the very same issue XMD cryptonote had and the only fix was make new Genesis block restart coin from block 0 and all lost coin, go check their thread . Stop mining and wait for the new Genesis block and new chain creation cause this bitch has rolled over

Study hard young dev and alert us to RELAUNCH Interesting I must find out. I was contemplating if cryptonote is just not a good choice. But this proves that it truly is in need of a new standard , updated core POS , and so on. Thankyou for all he support anons. If you want me to reimburse any coins, which id be happy to do ,I'd have to premine though. swapping coins is not considered a premine as long as you premine exactly what was mined already. and swap the coins to the new chain. edit: It's better to move to a new code base, cryptonote is plagued with these issues. I saw same issue on Monero as well and they fixed it, bad TX's leaking into the mempool. Thats exactly what I just started. Yes the old coins are worthless. Go read the first page of this thread ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1775760.0) cause this is what happened to ZID. What happen now is you can wait for this guys new POS coin and it will be a chain that dies again, gets stuck again for the 4th time or switch to the fork and stop wasting time. The issues are with the code base of cryptonote, while some coins moved past it, i dont feel cryptonote is a good base to have. They have much less community and resources. It is in the best interest of Identity Project to move to a reliable code base, that in the long run proves fit. Enjoy your forknote. You cant even think of a new name, or image. I already, made my point before when you called my emergency "bullshit" No one will mine that bs you made with forknote. Not unless you come up with your own vision for it. |
