Difficulty is still low enough to mine with a regular computer and get a few coins.  If you have a gaming gpu, you can get several hundred per day.  Of course, the difficulty is going up, so that won't last long.

There are several good pools.  I'm having good success with http://mine.altpool.com with almost 0 rejects.

What advantage does FeatherCoin have over any of the other cryptocoins?

You can still mine it with a regular computer using the cpu or gpu.

I would emphasize the "fun" part because there is no certainty about the future value of feathercoins.

It's a good chance to find out about mining and get a few coins.

LiteCoins, by comparison, are getting pretty hard to mine now.  I have a fast gpu, an AMD 7970, and I can only mine about 2 ltc in 24 hours and it cost me $10 in electricity (we have some of the most expensive el in the world).

Is there any other advantages other than easier to mine?
